Anyone know how to pronounce 'Risico'?

I've always said it with an 'ee' sound. Like Ris-eee-coh. But I've heard people say Ris-i-coh before.

Does anyone know the proper pronunciation?

What does Risico actually mean, I can't remember.

It's always hard to describe in writing how you pronounce a word, but I've said it something like this: Ree-see-co (with rolling R). Does it make sense?

    This.

Risico basically means the same as 'risk' by the way.
  • I say it as if it's in Italian. Is it in Italian ? :))

That's the way i say it too. Glad to know I'm not the only one.

As for the meaning, I have no idea. The opening line is 'In this pizniss is much risico.'

If it is italian, then it's Ree-see-co.

It is important to note that with Italian pronounciaiton the 'o' would not be like the English 'oh', but without the 'h'. More like the sound you get in words like 'claw' or 'raw'. (Ree-see-caw). But I have never really heard an English speaking person being able to pronounciate an 'o' without the 'h' anyway. ;)
