Haven't really looked into the scores too closely, but the License to Kill score is amazing, definitely one of my favorites

I agree on the LTK score being very good and distinctive. It was somewhat under appreciated at the time, as anything would be following Barry's brilliant TLD swansong, but I think it holds up quite well, like the film, with time.

I found it just a very....'American' soundtrack with just a few James Bond Theme queues. I must say I like it more than David Arnold's "QOS".

Kamen's rendition of the Bond theme is big and muscular. Loved it when I was younger. Must revisit it soon.

The bullets playing the theme was a smooth touch.

It definitely had a Die Hard/Lethal Weapon feel, thanks to Kamen being involved with all.

    12-Tomorrow Never Dies
    10-The Living Daylights
    8-Skyfall
    7-Goldfinger
    6-Casino Royale
    5-Quantum of Soalce
    4-From Russia With Love
    3-On Her Majesty's Secret Service
    2-Die Another Day
    1-The World Is Not Enough

LOVE Tomorrow Never Dies after the Goldeneye score. Arnold threw every Barry cue in that he could and it makes up for the lack of Bond sound on GE. Listen to the score only on the TND blu/dvd and you'll see how perfect it accentuates every thing!

It's a pity you and your colleague moderators don't have the possibility to stick topics to the top page....so called 'sticky topics'. I think certain topics lend themselves very well for such a sticky topic treatment, especially more generic topics, like production timelines, and polls.

A certain bias could seep in if that were the case, I would think. It would probably be preferable if the community through participation decide what gets top billing, imho.

Regarding the poll - @Gustav_Graves, it may be just a little too complicated or time consuming to tally the votes and type it up in each line along with the (in some cases) title. People usually prefer just a straight rank. @Thunderfinger showed how it could be done in abbreviated fashion easily but most are typing the whole thing up.

There is to my mind a theoretical quality-gap of 2 miles between my top 5 and the rest, but what all the top 10 scores do share is that they really ADD to their respective films and stand out as major strong points even where the movie itself falters. Whereas for the rest (11 and onwards) the score just feels like smth unimportant going on in the background…
In the worst cases (GE & TSWLM) they actually harm the film, in some cases it’s just like “Was there a score in this film..??” (SF, anayone..?)
