Alien Isolation
Anyone else got this game? I pre ordered it and I don't regret it. Not that far into it but I think I'd go as far to say that it's better than Alien 3 and Ressurection.
It gets off to a bit of a slow start but this is pretty much everything I'd hoped it'd be. It's scary and very, very tense. The Alien (there's only one) an actual threat. You can't kill it but it can kill you easily. The only real problem I have with it is that it's really hard (maybe I'm just crap at it). But everything else is perfect. The 70s atmosphere it creates is brilliant.
Colonial Marines was hyped as "the true sequel to James Camerons Aliens" but it was a crap game that sh*t all over the legacy of that film and the first one.
Alien Isolation though is fantastic, it's a brilliant, scary tribute to the original Ridley Scott film. Can't recommend it enough.
