  • I would definitely prefer to see some movement on the next movie but more broadly, my preference would be for breathing room between better, more thought out movies than a return to the old days of lashing out a new Bond every two years, with varyin…

  • Even as a character actor, Keoghan appears very limited to me - he basically does a mild variation of the same thing in every movie. A ‘quirky by numbers’ one trick pony, in my mind. He hasn’t a bloody hope of being cast as Bond.
  • Venutius wrote: » Ah, right, I get you. Yeah, fair enough, mate. For myself, I can only see one current actor with the potential to hold his own with past Bonds: Sope Dirisu. But, like Peter, I really doubt that'll happen. There's a few who clearl…

  • Brilliant idea for a thread! This is at the crux of my ‘what actor should be the next Bond’ predicament. I find myself asking ‘what kind of Bond should the next Bond be?’ and then considering ‘what actor would I cast to play that character?’. Vulne…

  • TLD - particularly since I had the chance to see it in the cinema for the 60th anniversary, which made me reappraise it. I’d love to catch it again on the big screen. An excellent Bond movie. OP is fun but somewhere in the middle of Roger’s movies …

  • Spectre is definitely at the bottom of my list - it’s the only Bond that I would not watch if it was on linear TV. It’s a hot mess of a movie, extremely tedious in places, making poor attempts at going places Craig’s Bond never should have gone, zer…
