  • At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if Top Gun 2 will take the Thanksgiving M:I7 spot, with the Fallout sequel being moved to a safer 2022.
  • From THR: “The only question left is whether MGM will relocate the 007 tentpole to October, December or November. The studio declined to comment. “I think everything substantive between now and Top Gun: Maverick in early July will move. It’s a mess,…
  • A friend of mine just lost his dad after 2 months in IC. He was 69 with no major diseases. Without restrictions and lockdowns would’ve been a massacre. Yes it sucks, but there’s no other way. The Lombardy region where I live is the one that suffered…

  • I believe by the end of this month they will make the announcement. At the latest... EDIT: I just found out that Fauci hopes US theaters could be open again at almost full capacity next autumn: “ If everything goes right, this is will occur some …
  • Agreed. I still don’t see theaters being open at full capacity in most key markets by November 2021 but it’s pretty clear that they’re reaching a breaking point. They can’t delay it indefinitely and at one point it won’t become sustainable anymore.

  • Yep... SF came out for Halloween in the US if I recall correctly.
  • Well like I suggested last week a release date inbetween Dune and M:I seems the most logical option.

  • I don’t know. Bond is Bond. It should’ve been the highest grossing film of 2020. I don’t see why they’d fear the competition of Cruise or Dune or whatever. A New Mutant scenario is out of the equation IMO, Bond will always trend and people care abou…
  • Let’s say, better $500 million this year or $800/900 million next year? MGM has different needs than WB, or Disney. We’ll see... I’m pretty curious to see what will happen to Black Widow (scheduled a month after NTTD). We should pray Disney to st…
