  • I thought I had seen most variations of Bond posters over the decades, but I found this one today and it's quite lovely: https://collectorstudio.com/product/1962-james-bond-dr-3/

  • I think Lazenby and Rigg have some raw sexual chemistry, mostly because Rigg has chemistry with everyone and Lazenby in 1968 was shagging everything except the lamppost. Possibly also the lamppost.

  • I want total and utter continuity. Nothing less will suffice. I want lines like Moneypenny saying, "James, where is that blue shirt you wore before your last mission briefing?" And "James, how did you get your hair cut so fast? Last time, I …
  • Live Wire Trigger Finger Quarterdeck (using CS as a launching pad--possibly condensed into a PTS--to establish the new Bond/M relationship)--or maybe they could fuse the novels MR and CS together.
  • I like the mix of cold and warm locations in OP. I think it is one of the few to break Cubby's "rule" of never going back to a location Bond has already left. But going back to India does give us the glorious tiger double take.
  • I'm not sure what else is left to do with skiing in a Bond film. AVTAK and TWINE were pale imitations of what came before. There's always snowboarding but there they run the risk of seeming like they're trying too hard to be "hip" (DAD PTS, I'm …

  • I think something like Reflections in a Dry Martini would work. Or even Reflections in a Vesper (an alternate universe title for QoS or NTTD?). Let's face it, a Bond title will never reference bourbon over a martini. The latter is too iconic.
  • In a way, the shoved-in title reference adds to the overall mid-'80s craziness of the movie. I mean, Patrick McNee shares a scene with Grace Jones! I love that.
