  • @bondjames Found the "article" in question, it's actually a radio clip from this past October on the BBC Radio website. Debbie McWilliams talks about Brosnan's Remington Steele issues and then says that she'd brought Rupert Friend in to meet eve…

  • If it's down to Turner and Elba, sign me up for Elba.
  • fire_and_ice wrote: » Elba would probably make a good Bond, though I think its ten years two late. Think he is too old at this point, Would like to see Bond in his early to mid 30s. This, I think, is the main point here that's been lost. E…

  • Trump has done a decent enough job of demonizing himself. If he hadn't conducted his campaign in a manner where he was spewing racist and bigoted rhetoric everywhere he went, then I'd say that the media trying to paint him a certain way might be un…

  • Creasy47 wrote: » @dalton, that's the one. I was an easy-to-please horror fan as a kid, so I was plenty happy with what we received, though yes, a bit more money on the budget could've made it that much better. You can tell that the idea is there …
  • My memory of the film is a bit fuzzy, but I'm assuming we're talking about the chase through the streets? I liked that part of the film as well, but just felt like it could have made a bit more impact had they just had a bit more to work with. W…

  • Apparently he had a change of heart on the way to his plane to head to DC for a fundraiser. My hope is that the change of heart was after a conversation with Trump regarding the VP job, but I doubt that's the case.
  • He'd been basically out of it for a while anyway. Today just made it official. I just hope he reconsiders his stance on not being a VP choice.
  • Creasy47 wrote: » Speaking of 'Hellraiser,' a lot of people have issues with the third one, but that's my favorite in the series. Hell, I also love 'Bloodline,' but after that, the movies turn too awful, even for me. I thought the third one…
  • I wish Trump had run as a Democrat. The Republicans actually fielded a somewhat decent field of candidates this time around (not all were great, but it was deeper in talent than the clown car that the 2012 field of Romney, Santorum, Gingrich, Paul,…

  • The bathroom thing is straight out of the Karl Rove playbook that, one would have thought, everybody had wised up to about a decade ago. I think it'll work out the opposite way this time, moving people more into Clinton's camp, as the electorate se…

  • It is possible to listen to someone speak and form a different opinion than someone else. I never said I know him better than you or him. That's putting words in my mouth. I've heard him speak and I'm not comfortable with him on foreign policy.…
  • No, I've listened to the man talk about foreign policy. He doesn't come across as someone who has that great of a grasp of what he's talking about, especially for someone who has spent the amount of time in Congress that he has.

  • Bernie's done. He even knows it as well, as his focus is shifting more to yanking the party's platform as far to the left as he possibly can before he's mathematically elminated. Even if the impossible did occur, I'm not sure that Bernie would b…
  • Honestly, it really doesn't matter which of them wins, both of the remaining candidates will make terrible presidents. The task now ahead of both Drumpf and Clinton is to convince the American people why they'll suck a little less than the other.
  • Sadly, he now has a 50-50 chance of becoming just that.
