  • There are 2 moments in all of Bond that I simply press the mute button for. 1 is the MWTGG slide whistle and the other is ' California Girls'. Both moments are infinitely better in silence.
  • People throw the term 'Woke' around in much the same way people said " it's political correctness gone mad" 2 decades ago when anything would even come close to threatening their opinion. On anything! There is rarely any nuance to the use of the wo…

  • I agree with your well made points and explanation of foster sibling jealousy ect. My issue however with that whole angle in Spectre isn't whether it's grounded in a reality or not it's that as a concept it just shouldn't have been explored. Certai…

  • Interesting, glad I posted my spot earlier. Learn something new every day.👍
  • I'm guessing they just needed an extra person to play a wax dummy that day and Sir Rog was on set. Or in story, Scaramanga has such a fixation with Bond he ordered a job lot of Bond dummies and peppers them around his island.😅
  • Blimey, after all these years, didn't know that. Thanks.
  • Just watching Golden Gun. I'm convinced that the gunslinger dummy that comes out of the saloon in the PTS is Roger Moore. Looks just like him. The moustache and shadow across his eyes helps disguise him but unmistakable.

  • 😅 I like doing stuff like that, making my own back stories up for people and things that quite make sense. - Quarrel Jr is Quarrel's little brother. Can't be son because LALD Bond isn't as old as he would need to be to have worked with his dad in D…

  • At the risk of looking stupid. Are these real T shirts available to buy or are they fan made? I find one or two of them as something I would wear if I could find them...

  • These fan creations are really impressive. So much better the the official offerings of late.
  • StirredNotShaken wrote: » Here's one that I'm now on board with: Octopussy is Roger Moore's greatest Bond film. 100% agree, I love Octopussy. ONE of my favourites in the whole series in fact.
  • I'm fine with someone else being 007 regardless of whether it's a man or woman. It's something a bit different and might be interesting in to watch. James Bond is still James Bond regardless of the '00' status. Us Bond fans understand that, the ge…

  • I do agree with several of your well made points actually. She is certainly an interesting character delivered by a very talented actor. My issue with Vesper is simply that she isn't a very nice person. I don't buy why Bond would fall in love with …
  • Here's a view, could be controversial, not sure. Just watched Casino Royale (2006) again and I feel that Vesper is really unlikeable for most of the film. I get that she is strong and capable and I enjoy that side of the portrayal. But the main vib…
  • If we got something like that at the front of NTTD I'd feel we were in very safe hands for this one, very good.
  • Thank you for checking, I thought I was imagining it. I first saw LALD in 1987 and must have seen it a hundred times since and yet I've only just noticed this.
  • I don't know if I've just noticed something! If I'm wrong please someone put me out of my bemusement because I've created a " it'll be the death of him" / "death of her" situation for myself. Right, here goes. In Live and Let Die just after Strut…
