  • I've said for a while just give Bruce Timm and Paul Dini control of all DC live action films. They obviously "get" the characters much better than anybody else
  • Sorry even if Elecktra was the "main" villain, it was Renard who felt like it. So yes I'd like a good real female baddie
  • Creasy47 wrote: @bondbat007, you're quite lucky! What did he say to you, anything? Shannon has always been such a tremendous actor who still seems very underrated to me. I'd love to see him in more. I was lucky enough to be introduced to hi…
  • I just had the pleasure of meeting Micheal Shannon as he's doing a play in downtown Chicago at his old theatre and I can't tell you all what a nice man this is and what an extraordinary talented actor he is. Would love to see him in a Bond film
  • If you say so @JamesPage, I believe you. I can only assume it was him that didn't want much Bond theme. Too bad as I didn't mind his score but I would like to see Arnold back.

  • thelivingroyale wrote: I've said it before and I'll say it again; if Arnold had done SF, and had composed exactly the same score as Newman, then he wouldn't have gotten nominated. Sadly, that's very true.
  • Craig will make 50 look good. No worries about his age here.
  • Had to sign back in as I said even though I was taking a break, I'd share my two cents if some big news came around. I'm very happy Mendes is back and am honestly surprised. It's incredible that there hasn't been a back to back director since the…
  • I know I'm not as "prominent" as other members here when it comes to posting but I also feel I should explain my prolonged absences. I'm currently finishing up film school in Chicago and I'm just ready to start production on my first original featur…
  • 8.5/10. I love it, it's so entertaining but the fact is that the next film is a masterpiece
  • I sincerely hope so lol. Otherwise I'm worried about the state of humanity

  • The ending didn't bother me and neither did Superman's "choice" Mostly because the character's reaction was so pure it made the moment work. Also this film gets bonus points to me because one of the final scenes takes place in Chicago's Union Sta…
  • Saw the midnight showing. Now keep in mind that I actually really enjoy Superman Returns for what it is. I really enjoyed MOS but some of the action was a bit much. But it's definitely the start of a great franchise
  • Wow. I still can't wait to see this tonight but it seems the positive reviews are REALLY positive while the negitive are saying that the film was flawed but they still found things enjoyable. I've never seen reactions so mixed like this...
  • PS+ is worth the price though for all the free stuff you get. 399 price point sold it for me. Good job by Sony!
  • Sony kicking butt so far. Ps4 looks a little like the Xbox One but a little slicker. So far so good with the games
  • You just got to feel bad for Jays fans. So much hope. But maybe next year they will all come together as I don't think they'll pull a Miami and trade everyone away. White Sox have now lost 7 in a row. Somebody put me out of my misery. All Star…
  • With e3 coming up, maybe we'll hear something about Bond? I doubt it but maybe something will be announced. Not in a press conference or anything but maybe in some sort of press release. I saw that Rare is announcing a new game based on something th…
  • The Nationals should be ashamed of what they did to Strasburg last year. Chances to win championships don't come around often (I'm from Chicago so I know this lol). Instead of shutting down Stras they should have done what the White Sox did with Chr…
  • I agree. My good friend is a die hard Phillies fan and he's just as fed up as you are. My White Sox are just as bad. Time for a rebuild. Not a lot of real surprises so far except that the Blue Jays, Dodgers, and Angels are much worse than anticipated
  • Thought I'd bump this thread up to see anybody's thoughts on the 2013 season so far
  • More twitter reactions http://slumz.boxden.com/f218/man-steel-official-first-reactions-reviews-thread-1932035/
  • Met Bill Nye a few years ago, great guy. Always made science videos in classes fun. But I wonder since WB is producing these videos that we'll see him shaving in MOS? I do like the heat vision mirror theory as demonstrated in Superman TAS.
  • So now we have Showbiz411 saying that Mendes is back for both Bond 24 AND 25 and that it is a two parter. I'd take this one with a grain of salt though but it's always possible http://www.showbiz411.com/2013/05/28/daniel-craig-persuades-skyfall-d…
  • Wow I go offline for a few hours and I miss this! But I'd hope Mendes would put as much effort into it as he can. He has to WANT to do Bond 24 if he's really thinking about coming back. But wow!
