  • Wonder if it's all been left last minute not just because it's production has held up press release screenings but more there fact there's one hell of a spoiler climax to SP in a 'M dies at the end' way which is being fiercely defended to prevent it…
  • Away with all this negativity! Actually. I'm enjoying this thread. Is there a 'best lines in all Bond' and if not, why not?
  • Oops. Of course I'd missed the day/date. Yes, I'll be in the same position myself. Wires crossed as pumped up for BTTF 1, 2 & 3 in one hit weds and somehow had SP on Weds too. Cool, it's even sooner that I was thinking! The anticipation is obvio…

  • Thanks for the update @Chevron - I don't feel so put out now by missing it earlier! They omit the most crucial info about the poster and the art cards too - what size they are. It's fundamental and amateur really. Probably quite deliberate too.
  • So is that Mail on Sunday disc any good? Following that earlier link by @Chevron, has anyone succumbed to these? WWW.MEDIAPROMOS.CO.UK
  • I'm getting a BTTF overdose on the 21st with a Vue showing of all three in sequence but will be thinking of you guys getting an early look at SP!!

  • I've been wondering about another thread that's spoiler free and can be safely read by those awaiting a viewing themselves days/weeks later with it only permitted to show a personal rating out of 5 (or 10?) and ONLY USE 5 WORDS!? 4* Absolutely e…
  • Not mine but just about relevant! M sends James Bond on a secret mission to heaven. When M doesn’t hear from Bond for over a day, he gets worried and calls up heaven. The Virgin Mary picks up the phone and says “Virgin Mary speaking.” M asks h…
  • Just remembered. There's a glorious Bond geek photo op that you could miss out on if you don't venture into the cafe area! Of course you need an accomplice! Along the wall of the sitting area where there are a few more props and models used in th…
  • ...and Cardiff
  • 60's is too much. 70's is better but why not just fill the gap (in 24 TV series episode style of hour segments if necessary) with a gritty TD type performance in the casm left after LTK and GE with the next Bond!! The nearest to go to an earpiece…
  • The length of the journey time to Cardiff can vary wildly between car and train and by time of day by car! There's a physical bottleneck on the M4 at Newport with speed restrictions that pretty much stands traffic stationery at peak times (5-7pm) ad…
  • I agree on just over 2 hours. Plenty to read and take pictures of. The shop won't keep you too long though there is a cafe. Get the handheld commentary when you gain entry for a few £ though - it's well worth it.
  • May as well have it all CGi'd up to get a Desmond Llewelyn Q Bernard Lee and a young Connery together. Call it something like Thunderball?
  • For all the well discussed flaws I find QOS a more entertaining engaging film. Something I never felt from my first viewing of SF. In fact I walked out of the first showing with a sense of crushing disappointment after the anticipation and the 'b…

  • When the originals were made the idea was to look forwards to a new modernity which was fresh unknown and exciting - look at DN and YOLT. If we put a new Bond of our age into a past I fear it will just smack of pastiche and not been taken serious…
  • The DB10 looks good in daylight and not half as fussy as some pictures seem to portray it - maybe the lower grille mouth doesn't have such a stark black and white graphic effect as it did in Rome by night. Still think the main headlights look awkwar…
  • I was there in August and would say Bond in Motion doesn't have too big a selection of merchandise actually - a lot of it is self branded BiM and really only the catalogue caught my eye. There are a few books (not many) including the IF novels but y…
  • Not very imaginative are they - déjà vu design. Why not try a different DotD background image for each character? The banner with all the colours of the crowd even. DC could contrast in tone and colour more to stand out.

  • There's a folded A2 poster with it too
  • Reported here from the production thread as they're more relevant here. It looks like you're going to have to buy TopGear's new magazine: Subscriber edition came today so cover will be different on the shelves of newsagents - looks a really g…
  • These aren't the best pictures but they show the flavour of the contents:
  • Looks like you're going to have to buy TopGear's new magazine: Subscriber edition came today so cover will be different on the shelves of newsagents - looks a really good relevant read on the DB10 and C-X75
  • Thanks for sharing that Mendes interview - fascinating reading he’s the main driver of the story and much more pro-active. He’s given much more to do.’ . Hallelujah!! Bond in SF didn't really have a bobbins what was going on
  • I always liked the cello. The music for the scene (as it is throughout TLD) is great!
