  • The way I see it is that Generations is an offensively bad film and Insurrection is an entirely nondescript one. Neither are good movies, but I was disgusted by the end of Generations - I was just bored with Insurrection.
  • I have finally finished watching the Star Trek films for the first time. Phew. 1. Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982) - 8.5/10 The best Trek film. It's exciting, well paced, and has one hell of a bad guy. Spock's death (and implied future) is…

  • WELCOME....to: It's official, folks. The fourth JP film is titled 'Jurassic World' and will be released June 12th, 2015. http://www.movieweb.com/news/jurassic-park-4-officially-titled-jurassic-world-sets-june-2015-release-date
  • Creasy47 wrote: @SJK91, what did you not like about 'Man of Steel'? Apologies, as it has been nearly 4 months since I have seen it last, but here is a list of the things I can remember. - Zach Snyder in the director's chair. I have mention…

  • I recommend watching it on YouTube with the annotations.
  • The designs are indeed nothing short of awful - both RoboCop and ED-209. Murphy looks like a guy in a suit, plain and simple. I was hoping in the film the suit would look more convincing than the behind the scenes shots, but it really isn't. Murphy'…

  • Not sure if this is really rare, but here is Daniel Craig with his usually hidden freakishly giant right arm and hand: http://www.imdb.com/media/rm1947184384/nm0185819 ;)

  • Sudden Death It's a movie from my childhood. I tried to like it, I really did - but it's just not very good. Sloppy editing and plot, stereotypical situations, Van Damme was eh. I do like Powers Boothe as the baddie and the fight with the Penguin…

  • I personally think that Sean Connery's DAF would have been better than Roger Moore's DAF. As for the thesis, I don't think I agree. If they were going for a change of tone, then DAF did it for better or for worse and introducing a new actor in th…

  • Sebastian who? Oh.... OH. Take a look at yourself in the mirror, Sebastian. Ridicule yourself before you even think about hating on Skyfall or any other James Bond film, for that matter. My God, it's almost as bad as Lee Tamahori coming…
  • For Your Eyes Only for me. Neither are great Bond films, but You Only Live Twice can be mind-numbingly stupid at times. Pretty tired performance by Connery, too. For Your Eyes Only features a strong performance by Moore and some truly stand out acti…
  • My God, I didn't realize how many giant sequels will be released in 2015. The current "Battleground" title of this thread sums it up very nicely.

  • More good news: http://filmdrunk.uproxx.com/2013/07/robocop-remake-rated-pg-13-confirmed It's a cash grab, and the makers of this remake obviously have no idea why the original was so good. Look, I'm not a guy who approves violence for violen…
