  • The greatest difference between DAF and OHMSS (except the tone) is the cinematography. Where OHMSS were grandiose in it's use of colours and visuals, DAF felt tacky and incredibly cheap in it's way it was shot.

  • Some Alan Hume's and Alec Mills cinematography during the 80's were a bit to run-of the mill for my taste. It lacked the depth and colour and of course the lack of innovative camera angles. David Tattersall made quite a great job on DAD, his work…

  • One of the criterias for being a Bond-director is to be a moderate fan with a good sense of the legacy of the franchise. If you're too much of a fan, you could easily screw it up. The same goes if you aren't a fan at all.
  • Films 1) LTK (#7) 2) TLD (#16) Tim's Performance This is a tough one, but i have to go with LTK after all. His acting strength is better utilized there. Villains 1) Sanchez, he is the best villain in the franchise. Period. 2) Koskov…

  • Thesis 264: Agree How much i would have loved to see Dalton in one or two more films, i think that the hiatus were a good thing for the franchise. It builded up a well needed anticipation for an upcoming film which later on saved the franchise.

  • I have got the tickets for the premiere on 10th December! I am very anxious to see it!
  • There's a lots of potential to shoot something here in Sweden. Depending on when they would shoot the film. If they (hypotheticly) would shoot in the winter then they could shoot some intense skiing/snowmobile chases in northern Sweden. If not that,…

  • thelivingroyale wrote: How is it dull and uninspired? Please give some reasons because I think it's a blast. It's a fast paced action fest but unlike QOS it doesn't try to be anything more than that. It's slick, witty, it has tons of colourful c…

  • I miss some names from KTBEU which i got to know quite well over the years. One of those members were "Fieldsman". It's too bad that him and all of the other jumped the ship after the transistion.
  • Nah, TND was too dull and too uninspired to qualify as a "fun action flick". I feel no love behind their craft for 1997's release. Forster made something totally different and something that really sticks out and handles Bond with dignity!
  • I'm happy as long as we don't have to see Spottiswoode, Apted or Tamahori back in the director's chair.

  • I'm very much like Craigs Bond, by the same reasons @StirredNotShaken pointed out. Some people have actually told me that i share some similiar looks with Craig too!
  • I would like to see Forsters return, if he could get some more time development of the script and the story then i'm confident that he could make an even better film then QoS!
