  • The greatest difference between DAF and OHMSS (except the tone) is the cinematography. Where OHMSS were grandiose in it's use of colours and visuals, DAF felt tacky and incredibly cheap in it's way it was shot.

  • One of the criterias for being a Bond-director is to be a moderate fan with a good sense of the legacy of the franchise. If you're too much of a fan, you could easily screw it up. The same goes if you aren't a fan at all.

  • Nah, TND was too dull and too uninspired to qualify as a "fun action flick". I feel no love behind their craft for 1997's release. Forster made something totally different and something that really sticks out and handles Bond with dignity!
