  • Roger Deakins’ podcast will be interviewing Chris Corbould shortly.
  • I want Bond to be, after five years of retirement in Jamaica, completely bored with civil life and hungry for a new adventure. So when Felix comes knocking, he’s eager to go. Full on Bond mode 😎 Felix: I need a favour brother, you’re the only one…

  • I too like the whole QoS title sequence. The women coming out of the sand is a particularly nice touch.
  • The only thing I dislike is the boring font choice, same old Arial. Give us something a bit snazzier. Perhaps that is why I like MK12’s custom font for QoS

  • I’m waiting for Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart next week. Other than that, have been replaying Sackboy to work through the trophy list.
  • I always thought Blofeld was slightly suspicious as Bert sounded “like he had a cold”, so probably contacted Saxby separately.
  • When I went to see Godzilla Vs Kong in IMAX a few weeks ago (UK), we got the second trailer, but is was ever so slightly sped up. Not by much, but enough for it to be noticeable as not quite right.
  • 18.37mi by some estimates 😅 https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/blogs-magazine-monitor-23005848
  • @Fire_and_Ice_Returns It is increasingly obvious that it is the Vin Diesel show going forward, and for me, Dom is the least interesting character. I much prefer Brian (Paul Walker) and the supporting cast (Ludacris and Tyrese are good value, albe…

  • Jaws must have metal junk.

  • I believe Waltz is on record as not having a good time working on Spectre with Mendes, and preferred Fukunaga’s approach with NTTD. If the two of them (Waltz and Mendes) weren’t on the same page, that makes brining a character to life, who was poorl…
  • They feel designed for a video game, rather than a movie.
  • I am still a few short... Le Chiffre, Baron Samedi and Safin are the only ones left I think. In my local Game yesterday I picked up Nomi, Paloma and Moonraker Bond, for about £8 each.
  • R.e. Craig I think Broccoli convinced Amy Pascal, then head of Sony Pictures, to cast him. Everything else, as they say, is history.
  • Does make you wonder, what happens to the evil organisation after Bond has killed the main villain. Like what happens to Drax Industries, Carver Media Group, King Oil, etc. Where they are legal entities as businesses with likely hundreds of thousand…
  • Alexander Witt is a far better second unit director than Vic Armstrong. The action in the Craig era (apart from QoS which he didnt do, sadly), is far better than the PB era.

  • TWINE is PB’s worst Bond film, DAD, for all its faults (and there are loads)... its never boring. I cant at least say I am not bored by it. TWINE, on the other hand, is boring. I am not sure I can say that about another Bond film. Sorry Pie…

  • Koskov knows Saunders as they set up the initial defection. So it wouldnt be a stretch for Koskov to tell Necros to track down and kill Saunders, the first link in the defection chain. Bond being with him at the time was a bit of a bonus as he witne…
  • Currently playing Sackboy: A Big Adventure (PS5) And Battlefield V (PS4 on PS5). Sackboy is great. Not getting along with Battlefield 5. It feels like the aiming is really off. Can line up a shot perfectly and miss.
