I liked TFA, TLJ, Mando, and Obi-Wan. That’s about it. To be fair, I’m not really interested in the other shows.

Gunn is probably the most right guy for Superman that we have gotten since Donner. Him posting that cover of ALL STAR SUPERMAN to represent what he’s aiming for gives me hope.

I don’t think JJ will ever come back after TROS. He ended up making a movie everyone can agree was below par. I personally enjoyed it in theaters, but I do agree that it ranks among the weakest of the saga.

I always felt the first two films had the humor and drama wayyyy too disparate in a way that they kind of clashed with each other. With 3, I think James Gunn balanced it perfectly.

A cliffhanger would have only worked if Craig not only had a different film from NTTD but an entirely different run of films. As it was, there was way too much baggage with Craig’s Bond that I wouldn’t have wanted with the new Bond.
