Batman Returns owes little to the Batman character. It's a huge mess of a movie. Pfeiffer is fantastic but the whole thing looks like it was shot on a soundstage. Not my idea of a Batman film. Great score from Danny Elfman though.

My second viewing of Endgame has elevated the film in my estimation. Great stuff and it seemed to go quicker second time around. My wife loved it on her first viewing.
