  • The idea of a young Bond makes me feel nervous, I think it's down to the lack of experience behind the scenes. I'd feel less nervous about it if Debbie McWilliams was still in the room, casting her eye over potential candidates
  • I think the way Ilsa and Grace's characters were handled could have been better in the last two films
  • Mark Strong could have been a brilliant villain. He's a brilliant actor, with a great presence and powerful voice. Perhaps him being in the Kingsmen series didn't help
  • sandbagger1 wrote: » He’s 5’9. That’s the same height as me, and I think it’s a little too small to be Bond convincingly. I just think there are better Bond contenders out there. I don't want him as Bond either mate, but I think he could ge…
  • Longer Quantum. I really enjoy the film, it just feels like it's missing some Bondian elements because of the shorter run time
  • Alfie Allen I think this fella will be talked about as a potential Bond soon, not that he'd be my choice. He's the lead actor in a new TV series called Atomic, it's coming out at the end of this month. He's 38, been in Game Of Thrones, John Wick…

  • Rose-Marsh feels like one that fits into the "we tested 100's of actors" category. With all due respect to him he's been in nothing. I think the leak has come from his agent to boost his profile. With hiring Villeneuve to direct and Knight to wri…
  • Eclipse was rumoured for NTTD at one point. Interestingly if you watch the Sound Of Bond documentary, at the very start when Billie Eilish was recording her vocals there is a music stand that has Eclipse by Hans Zimmer written on it
  • I remember watching McMafia when Norton was rumoured for Bond, I thought he was quite wooden and forgettable in that. I think there are better candidates
  • I think Amazon will play to the fans a bit, given the director/writer they have chosen. I don't think Amazon has the credit in the bank in terms of trust to cast too far against type. Perhaps we get a more unknown choice, but I don't they'd cast say…

  • M_Blaise wrote: » Luke Evans could have been a great Bond. Luke Evans would have made an excellent Bond, he's a great actor We're getting close to the stage were I'd add Aidan Turner to the list. I can't see them casting anyone over 35 t…
  • I love both films so much. Maybe if it was like the first hour of Daylights, with the freshness of Goldeneye
  • talos7 wrote: » If at this second I had to choose 5 candidates to screentest they would be , in no particular order, 1.Theo James 2. Callum Turner 3. Leo Suter 4. Jack Lowden 5. Sam Claflin I think that's a really strong 5 mate, most…
  • Great choice!
  • Pierce2Daniel wrote: » Not buying the Leo Suter bloke, that trailer had him oozing cringe and trying way too hard to be suave. It felt more like a parody of Bond than a screentest. Also, let’s not forget Denis Villeneuve is directing. This is his …

  • It's exciting that there will be a driving level
  • Bond_Bombshell wrote: » The trailer for Leo Suter as the new Inspector Lynley. This will be aired in the UK on BBC1 this autumn and will inevitably lead to Suter as Bond tabloid gossip. I think Suter is the best "young candidate" in con…
  • I watched a few episodes of The Narrow Road to the Deep North on BBC, with Jacob Elordi as the lead. I'm sorry but he doesn't have the leading man presence needed to play Bond. It's nothing against him personally, without going into spoilers, the…
  • https://news.sky.com/story/spies-and-special-forces-among-more-than-100-britons-whose-details-were-included-in-afghan-data-leak-13398068 It's crazy that we were only talking about something similar to this as a possible plot for Bond yesterday
  • Even though it was used as a macguffin in Skyfall. I'd love the villain or an organisation to be leaking the identities of spies and M sends Bond to go and recover the list to keep other operatives safe. It could even be the plot for the pre titl…

  • Spectre has one of the best pts in the series in my mind, Craig's swagger as Bond is only matched by early Connery. The pts score is superb too
  • Jodie Comer would be a fantastic choice, I think she'd be an excellent Bond girl. I'd love Bond #7's run to use a version of Gala Brand as this Bond's Tracy, Vesper or even Natalya. I think Comer would fit that perfectly.
