  • I find every time I watch one of his movies, besides Alien 3, I just want them to keep on going. I absolutely love his style and I think he’s absolutely one of the best directors of the modern era. There certainly are directors/films I could name I …

  • The Social Network (2010). Pretty good film here - quite different from the last Fincher film I just saw! Fincher proves again he has great versatility and delivers another solid movie. Doesn't quite rank among my favorites from the director, but I'…

  • I think Mr. Malek has the potential to be an amazing Bond villain. Time will tell if we do indeed get him in the film.
  • Zodiac (2007). Masterpiece. Love everything about this film, and I think it’s Fincher’s most impressive achievement. David Fincher Ranking: 1. Zodiac 2. Seven 3. The Game 4. Fight Club 5. Panic Room 6. Alien 3

  • I thought Hinx was alright, but bringing him back isn’t really necessary. Of course, I feel the same way about Madeleine. Hopefully they at least use her well.
  • Less than 2 months away from filming, we should expect to get lots of big news very soon. Really itching to learn about cast, locations, and title.
  • Panic Room (2002). Yet another hit from Fincher. I had seen bits and pieces of the film before, but never the whole thing. It had great acting and suspense the whole way! It wowed me a little less than Fincher’s previous three films, but it’s still …

  • I love Daniel! :) so ready for production to start!
  • “I’m keeping tight-lipped.” My takeaway? They definitely want him in it and probably are trying to work something out.
  • There’s really not much evidence to back it up, but I do have a feeling Boyle’s Bond 25 would have been more standalone than what we will end up with. I certainly would love to know what it was - perhaps one day? Maybe some of their ideas will be ke…
  • YOLT over NSNA. No contest. Connery is arguably better in NSNA, but everything else about YOLT is superior. SF over OP. I know OP is more popular around here, but ever since it released SF is a personal favorite of mine. I do enjoy OP too though.
  • The Game (1997). I really enjoy this film. I saw it somewhat recently, but still loved rewatching it again for my Fincher marathon. It’s very entertaining and features a great journey for the protagonist. It’s a second straight big hit from Fincher …
  • Seven (1995). A great film, and a much more proper debut for David Fincher than Alien 3. The cast/acting, story, atmosphere are all top notch. It’s very easy to get immersed into this film, and I consider it a modern classic. David Fincher Rankin…
  • https://www.gq-magazine.co.uk/gallery/best-daniel-craig-bond-films An interesting, somewhat controversial ranking of Craig's Bond outings.
  • Alien 3 (1992). This was a really mixed bag of a film. Obviously, it is weaker than the first two, but it is also a little better than I expected (having heard mostly bad things going in). It has some good characters and some bold moves, which one c…
  • Wondering if Boyle and Hodge will also get any story credits.
  • Aliens (1986). This was a decent sequel, but IMO the first is still far superior. I prefer the characters in the first as well as the smaller scope, and the horror element is better executed. I did enjoy Aliens though. The first is just too good.

  • Alien (1979). My first film of 2019 - one of the best films ever! Going to watch Aliens and Alien 3 as well, segwaying in to my David Fincher marathon.
  • Glad Connery got the most watches (he is the best!), and Lazenby broke 30.
  • I’m one of the only people I know of with no love for Tarantino’s films/style. Never understood the love for his films. Pulp Fiction is okayish but way overrated, and everything else I’ve seen from him I dislike. Unpopular, I know, but Tarantino is …
