  • Personally I think Bond 25 should be Craig’s last. If it’s bad, then it will prove to me there wasn’t much left in the tank after SF. If it’s good, then I’d much rather settle on him leaving on a high then risking it again for Bond 26. I love Craig’…
  • Despite Moore’s age, to me AVTAK seems very much a classic, standalone Bond entry that doesn’t scream “final mission.” Whether or not Bond 25 is Craig’s last, I hope the approach is similar and it isn’t emphasized as a “final mission.” That idea has…
  • That road is an awesome, Bondian location. I hope Craig’s injury isn’t serious.
  • I can hardly believe there was once a time I ranked SP above QOS. Just goes to show how a honeymoon phase can sometimes mess with a proper ranking! I prefer QOS in just about every way.

  • Trainspotting (1996). Highly engaging film - very intense. The Bond references were great too. Definitely a winner!
  • TB over FYEO GE over SP
  • Very happy to have some more of Norway coming! I am wondering when the title will drop. I’m thinking maybe not until the first trailer.

  • Finished the OP + TLD collection (all the short stories). Enjoyed TLD a ton! 007 in New York was amusing but not fleshed out enough for me to rank it higher than last of the short stories. Overall I found the Bond short stories really awesome, and o…
  • Read through Octopussy and The Property of a Lady. Both good, but so far I prefer the stories in the FYEO collection. I’ll finish up the last two short stories sometime tonight. Novel Ranking: 1. Dr. No 2. Moonraker 3. Live and Let Die 4. Fro…
  • Upon recent rewatches: 1. Batman 2. Batman Returns 3. Batman & Robin 4. Batman Forever Batman & Robin is technically “worse” than Forever, but it made me laugh more so I enjoyed it more. I love both of Burton’s films a lot.

  • Even though the location isn’t my first choice for it, another London finale wouldn’t bother me too much as long as it’s much better-executed than SP’s. I wonder if there will be any more locations not yet mentioned. I was a little surprised that th…
  • Risico was another excellent short story. Lots of action and interesting characters! The FYEO film did a great job implementing stuff from the FYEO and Risico stories. Hoping I’ll have time to finish the FYEO collection later tonight with The Hildeb…

  • Oh man it looks so good. I will be seeing that as early as I can.
  • As much as I dislike the Blues, I’d still rather see them go all the way over Boston. A first-time Stanley Cup winner is much more interesting.
  • Definitely in favor of all the current MI6 crew remaining as long as possible after Craig. They really did a great casting job with SF and got the positions right IMO.
  • Of course the Blues won. Sigh. At this rate I’ll probably be stuck with a Blues-Bruins final.

  • Quantum of Solace sure was an interesting read. I liked the story; it has a lot to say about human nature and has several unpleasantly relatable aspects. I don’t think I can rank the short stories along with the full-length novels. Too different,…

  • For Your Eyes Only was an even better short story than From a View to a Kill. All the characters and action were simply perfect. That was an awesome Bond story.
