  • I mean I'm sure if the new James Bond was working with Martin Campbell or Sam Mendes on a project when they were cast, they'd ask for some advice? Just a natural conversation to have. Doesn't undermine the director they'd be working with in any way.

  • I agree wholeheartedly @thelivingroyale, Jack O' Connell is a great actor and would be perfect to takeover the franchise, but as I'm sure some will point out, many believe his height will hold him back (5′ 8"). Although I believe if the producers th…
  • Sam Claflin is an actor I’d be very happy to see cast. He’s certainly in my top five.
  • I used to watch them all the time as a kid, and Casino Royale was my first cinema experience with Bond which solidified me as a true fan. I was only 10 when CR came out lol :D

  • Craig's look in Skyfall is actually my favourite. I actually preferred the much shorter hair and the tighter suits.
  • Definitely will @Univex I'll let you know when I've had the chance.

  • @ImpertinentGoon Yeah I get that, and on paper, it would certainly seem that way, but I think it would be very easy to make those classic elements feel authentic to the character and the actor, without making them come across as a "finance bro". …

  • Oh yeah I imagine they're still busy with No Time to Die - the producers anyway.
  • I think no matter who they go for, "young" or "old", it should definitely be a James Bond in his prime. Craig was our experiment with the origin story, and seeing as other franchises seem to be taking that hint, let's hope EON do to :) I also think…

  • I personally find the cinematography in Spectre weighs down the scope, and was more akin to his work on Tinker Tailor, whereas his cinematography in Tenet was one of my favourite things about the film.

  • @Pierce2Daniel I agree that there’s still a chance for Nolan, but I think it’s too late for Tom or Rob. They have their own franchises now, so I’d say they’re both off the table. Maybe Aaron-Taylor? I quite enjoyed the small amount of screentime …
