  • Huh. Just got home to find issues 120 and 121 waiting for me. Wasn't expecting them so soon.
  • Have we had a DB5 from GoldenEye yet? And TND? And the deleted scene from TWINE? Lots of scope for the DB5 model to be rereleased. :)
  • Oh dear. My list is going to be so long compared to those already posted above. Great idea for a thread though. Here are mine with some gaps to fill in later 1970 1971 Dirty Harry/THX1138/The French Connection 1972 Deliverance 1973 High …
  • Well, I've subscribed already so while the James Bond collection is winding down I'll have a new collection starting up. Wait. The James Bond collection isn't winding down, is it? Oh, ok. So I'll have two collections on the go. (I think the St…
  • Off topic, but I thought this would be of interest to any part-work subscribers here. I've just found out about this: http://startrek-starships.com/
  • Photos of the model http://postimage.org/image/5c1ovhwbn/ http://postimage.org/image/4pvcu8ulf/ Found on http://www.ajb007.co.uk/topic/28313/james-bond-car-collection-questions-and-praise/page/179/

  • I want to see a Nolan Bond. It'll be three hours long, will have flashbacks within flashbacks and Michael Caine will be in it. What's not to like.
  • thelivingroyale wrote: Hey, did anybody else notice that (Spoiler) Yeah, I think I saw some (Spoiler) just before the mural disintegrated. :)

  • Found Nobody Lives Forever in another branch today. Well pleased.
  • I wish I could say I enjoyed it as much. I was really disappointed. It's not a terrible movie but I guess my expectations got the better of me. It doesn't help that the trailer gives away most of the story and a climatic scene. If you are thinking o…
  • I checked the Works website. They are listing Icebreaker, Role of Honour and Nobody Lives Forever. The book were only out in May!
  • Nice finds in The Works today. They had the new 2012 editions of Icebreaker and Role of Honour for just £1.99 each or as part of the 3 for £5. I'll be checking back to see if they get Licence Renewed and For Special Services.

  • I've always been a big fan of LTK but reading these recent threads made me want to go and watch it yet again. So I popped the thing into the DVD player last night. Here are a few thoughts Yes, it does look a bit cheap. It does look like a made fo…
  • I get two issues every two months. That's been the case for a while now. Look at how under-represented LTK is on that list. =cough=Kenworth=cough=
  • Numbers 118 and 119 arrived today. When I got home I saw the familiar cardboard box waiting for me and I said 'ah, mister Bond, I've been expecting you.' I actually did say it, mind. I've not had a close look at the cars yet but there is a sma…
  • Just had a great idea for a car from TWINE's pre-credits sequence. The one being clamped as Bond goes past in his boat.
  • Alan Partridge voice: 'Stop getting Bond WRONG!'
  • RogueAgent wrote: Samuel001 wrote: At this rate issue 130 won't be released until the end of the year. Hopefully this collection goes on no longer than issue 150. 150 would take us close to Bond 24! And Car Collectionwise you know what …
  • Connery - Maybe one too many, although DAF was a favourite of mine when I was young. Lazenby - I would have liked to have seen at least one more to see what direction they would have gone. Moore - AVTAK is one too many. Dalton - Definately would …
  • Very interesting. I quite enjoyed Moon and Source Code and assumed he would be staying with science fiction.
  • My old VHS tape of licence to kill was missing the James Bond theme that the bullets 'play' when they hit the tanker truck. It's on the DVD version.
  • I like Jeff... "My friend, bring me one as well, keep the fruit." "I'm bleeding chips." "Does it look like we need the money? "
  • darren_blacksmith wrote: Did they do the trailer from Octopussy with the horses rear-end that lifts up to reveal the mini-jet? No. They did the Range Rover and they did the jet with the wings up, but not the trailer. And to think Corgi mana…
  • largo2 wrote: Anyone else still waiting for 118 and 119 ? My last delivery was 116 and 117 on 24 March.
  • The book is not out for ages so the cover may not be final.
  • I still want Tim's car from Key West in Licence to Kill, the one he leaves outside the airport when he's about to go home and later uses to go 'shark hunting'. However I expect we'll get cars Bond walked past on the street, or drove past, or park…
