  • Just saw the ad. It was pretty funny. I hoping all those things he said would happen! Especially the exploding cabin. Although I would keep the moose.

  • ^I remember that as well. However, it just never played out that way. It would have been interested to see what Pierce could have done with a role like that (although I couldn't picture him doing stuff Craig has done), but his films were fun and t…
  • I have to give credit to Pierce Brosnan because he's the reason I became a Bond fan. Even though he is no longer favorite Bond actor (after having seen the other films), his movies are the ones that got me into Bond and his world. So much so that…

  • ^Not spin-offs, but there were attempts to make more DC shows with other characters. They just didn't take off. There was "Birds of Prey" which was an ok show, they did make an Aquaman pilot, but nothing progressed with that.
  • 4EverBonded wrote: » Ah, that was Wham! I'll look that one up, too. :) It's a very, I guess, kinda sad song, but it's so fun to sing along to.
  • There are so many that I enjoy, but "Last Christmas" by Wham really does it for me.
  • I like that the teaser really has that feel of Star Wars. Looks good. Although I expected this movie to come out over the summer rather than next December.
  • The last episode was very enjoyable. At least the villain was as weak as the last couple had been, but still something the show struggles with. Surprise they off Girder since I was hoping he would come back later in the season. Wells is still an …
  • Just watched the review. I think he summed it up when he stated it wasn't bad film, it was disappointing. When I first saw QoS, I found that I left the theater having an incomplete feeling about the film, but I enjoyed it. The second time around,…
  • I like the pilot. Since reading him in the New 52, I've come to like Barry Allen and the Flash, and was really looking forward this show. I can't wait to see what they have in store for the rest of the season and their crossover with Arrow.
  • Just read this online and was shocked. So sad. RIP Mr. Kiel.
  • Anyone here a hockey fan or are watching the Stanley Cup playoffs? My team tonight is facing game 7 and the sports radio guys I listened to compared the rival coach to a Bond villain. They played the James Bond theme and all. I also remember a co…

  • Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster Another strong outing, the only setback would be that they make Godzilla seems a bit goofy. The costume was a bit thinner, his head looked like a Boston terrier with bulgy eyes. When he fell, he flailed around l…
  • Mothra vs Godzilla I watched the Japanese version of this one and I liked it a lot. I did watch some of the English dub, but it seems liked it wasn't much different aside from calling Mothra, "The Thing" and some deleted scenes. I liked the pacin…
  • Godzilla Raids Again Gigantis? What happened to Godzilla's voice? I watched the American dub version of this film, and they decided to make some changes by calling Godzilla "Gigantis" (which is kinda lame) and change his roar which I couldn't diff…
  • Catching up with some of my reviews since I got sidetracked. Robocop Prime Directives: Resurrection, and Crash and Burn I managed to finish off this miniseries and it didn't go well. What I liked about the first TV movie was lost by the time Cr…
  • chrisisall wrote: Artemis81 wrote: Robocop Prime Directive: Dark Justice B+ Wow @Artemis81, you liked that mini-series a whole lot more than I did. I thought even the kiddified TV series was better. The guy playing Robo was like 5'4" a…
  • Anyone watch the pairs figure skating last night? Even though the Russian pair were tough to beat, the American couple skated to an orchestral version of Skyfall, followed by the James Bond theme, an orchestral version of Goldfinger (I believe) and…
  • You know, I didn't really care much about this series, but when I saw the trailer for the reboot, I went back and started watching the original Robocop films. While the first one is still the best, I hope this reboot will be just as a good. I have…
  • Robocop Prime Directive: Dark Justice Well, now I'm on to the TV movies. Let just say, this wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. This movie had a somewhat similar tone to the first film (as far as being dark in a way), but also brought back …
  • Robocop 3 chrisisall wrote: Curious as to how you'd like Robocop 3. I agree with your ratings of the first two completely. I objectively rate Robocop 3 at B-, and subjectively at A since I totally love the 'superhero' take over the dark gritty …
  • ^They already won. As stated in my previous post, the music from films categories are handed out before the telecast.
  • Robocop I wasn't really a fan of this series and really couldn't care less, but after seeing the trailer for the reboot next month, I was really excited about it. So I went back and decided to watch all the original Robocop movies in anticipation …
  • It looks like Skyfall won a Grammy in both of those categories. They don't show these categories during the actual telecast, but they have been confirmed on the Grammy website. Congrats to Adele, Paul Epworth, and Thomas Newman!
