  • If it's to do with coins I suppose perhaps the coins in FRWL and EON might have the Queen's head (no idea if that's true), while the coin that Bond flips at the beginning of OHiMSS is a new one with the King's head? So the last one's the odd one out.
  • Hypothetically, I think the major draw of a Nolan Bond film would be his behind the scene influence rather than how much his involvement resonates with a broad filmgoing public. You could have certain high profile actors or filmmaking talent attache…
  • I must admit, a part of me actually wants a short film (not a feature length one) with Brosnan reprising his Bond as an older man. That said EON won't do it, it likely wouldn't add anything, and Bond is just one of those series that has to look forw…
  • MR. Both novels have had elements of them adapted throughout a number of recent Bond films though. Still, with a good bit of tinkering MR could be adapted.

  • I may well be in the minority, but I'm not actually a fan of the title 'Property of a Lady'. Sounds a bit too airy and like a campaign for a perfume or something. Anyway, I suspect Bond 26 will incorporate Fleming material, but not necessarily in…

  • I wouldn't want either personally, but if it had to be between the two I'd go with Spielberg.

  • It's worth saying that the way directors become directors in the film industry has changed a lot since the Bond films began. You won't get an 'in-house' director like Hunt or Glen today because that sort of system where someone can go from being a 2…

  • Well, just by virtue of NTTD's ending Bond 26 will be a reboot. But I understand what was meant by a 'Bond begins' premise. I actually don't consider CR an origins story. At most it shows his first official mission as 007 (although even this migh…

  • Barbie (2023) To be honest, I think Lego Movie did this general idea much better. I dunno, maybe it just wasn't for me, but I feel this film either needed to take itself more seriously (more along the lines of The Truman Show) or drift a lot furt…
  • I wouldn't say Craig's acting was bad in either of those scenes (I'd argue much of his performance during the whole PTS is some of the best of his tenure). It's just that the acting choices during the interrogation scene are a bit unusual when you t…
