  • Between Villeneuve and Nolan I’d say Villeneuve’s more likely to direct. I mean, it really doesn’t seem like it’ll be Nolan at this point. But then again there’s a very strong possibility it’ll be neither… arguably that’s the most likely outcome.

  • I suppose it’s worth saying that great cinematography doesn’t necessarily have to be beautiful, as much as Bond films are about spectacle. It has to effectively create a mood or feeling. I suppose SP’s cinematography comes down to taste and how well…
  • I kind of sympathise with Clooney constantly joking about Batman and Robin. It’s one of those bizarre disasters of a film that you only get every so often. And it kinda temporarily killed the Batman film franchise. Not my favourite actor, but I c…

  • I think the fact that it’s a Bond film will outweigh the director’s name. The truth is as well a lot of casual viewers don’t know who Villeneuve or even Nolan are, even if they know their films (I always say it was surprising talking to non filmey f…

  • I might be in the minority, but I actually really like the title DAD! It just kinda rolls off the tongue.
  • The potential directors for this film is something of a missed opportunity. We could have potentially gotten a DAD directed by John McTeirnan, Ang Lee, or Stuart Baird. There’s something about Tamahori that points to a director with some madcap idea…

  • To be fair to Snyder it seemed like he was talking from a creative stand point. Less ‘Batman shouldn’t as a character have a rule against killing’ but more ‘what would happen if that rule was broken’… But then again Snyder’s not the smartest film…

  • I’m really not sure why some people here are so pessimistic about the candidates when… well, there are no candidates yet. Only hypothetical choices. And honestly, to me it seems like there’s plenty of good choices. Definitely more of a range than…
  • It depends on how much it would have been highlighted in the trailers. I can see it backfiring somewhat though as presumably she would have had Pola’s role and she doesn’t exactly do much. I’m not sure it would have added much, but maybe getting …

  • I think a new Bond's introduction should in some way give us an idea of their take on the character and broadly what to expect from them. This is the way it's been in the past, ie. Craig - very much a 'hit the ground running' introduction - more …
