Diamonds Are Forever - I still see Plenty O'Toole in my dreams.
Golden Eye - The Redhead steals the show - Tastes Like Strawberry. But I wouldn't know.
Casino Royal - You can learn Poker while drooling at Eva.

None... how would I play them without electricity? Even with batteries they would die out within a week... ;-)

But I'll play along — DN, OHMSS, TSWLM

Thunderball, FRWL, Casino Royale, in that order!

    I reckon.....
    1. Thunderball. Connery gives us a lesson on how to remain cool in a hot climate. Also, it would be nice to be able to look at some beautiful girls on this desert island.
    2. Goldeneye...More fantastic eye candy, and an ol favourite.
    3. The Spy Who Loved Me...I really like the humour in this film, and after watching Moore, the world always seems a nicer place.

    TMWTGG

To show future generations how not to make a Bond film.
But that's the best Bond film of the franchise ! Obviously EON should make more films like TMWTGG !

Two of my three choices are very easy choices to make: Casino Royale and The Living Daylights, as they star my two favorite Bond actors and are both mainstays in my Top 5. After that, it gets to be considerably more difficult to pick, but I guess I would have to go with Thunderball as my third, just to get a Connery film in there, but it has some serious competition for that third spot.

these are not my top 3, but I would take GoldenEye, Live and Let Die and Dr. No

    That's a very good top 3.

Let's just say I wouldn't use 'best Bond film of the franchise' for a film that constantly defies its own logic and piles up one improbable move after the other. ;;) Also, comedy can be a bliss, in very - small - doses.

  • Ohhh, this is a tough one!!!

    A View to a Kill
    Octopussy
    Moonraker

Those three are my most watched, most enjoyable James Bond films. They always have been and no doubt will remain that way!

For variation's sake - important on a desert island, I'd imagine - it would probably be...

To which one are you referring to sir? There are 3 with that word to choose from, and I sure hope it's not the one with the guy with the diamonds in his face ;-)

The 'Die is @St_George's pet name for Live And Let Die, which also just happens to be the best of the films by far with 'Die' in it's title. :-))

None at all then ;-) . Mind you, you are right in some ways. The whole idea is based on fantasy, so why not?

I'd have to take DAF, GF and YOLT. The most outlandish of the Connery classics.

Just curious, timmer. If you could take a 4th, would it be TMWTGG? Exotic island, Maud and Britt, plenty of outlandishness, etc.

    But no Sean Connery. ;-)

On Her Majesty's Secret Service, From Russia With Love and either Goldfinger or Moonraker, depending on my mood. I might even be coaxed into taking QoS as it would be a shame to have to do without Craig's badassery.
