I wouldn't be disappointed if they did FYEO but I've always assumed they'd skip over FYEO and release that near the end (along with OP - which will be a smaller book anyway).

I'm really looking forward to the Spectre trilogy though. I think all three offer excellent visuals for Dalton to conjure.

Will be curious where TSWLM falls in the sequence of releases...

Just taken advantage of the voucher code, and ordered Casino Royale. This will be my first Folio Society book.

From one Major to another...good investment! Even though they can be costly they are things of beauty these editions.

From what i've seen of them, the cost will be worth it, just don't tell my wallet.

Mine first two been listed on the site as “Dispatched” for over a week. Is that normal for this company? I guess I’ve gotten too used to Amazon that sometimes seems to get it to me before I’m finished ordering.

In my experience they do take quite a while - compared to Amazon. But I'm on the other side of the world so it's inevitable.

    Which ones have you ordered?

UK to US shipping can widely vary. Amazon.co.uk tends to be very quick, but some British distributors can take two to three weeks. Some take a month.

Whichever two were first in the current set; CR and DN, I believe. I’m debating getting the old LALD on eBay. How likely is it that we’ll see that in the new format anytime soon?

I'm assuming they'll do LALD towards the end of the run? Perhaps last. But would seem odd to do everything other Bond novel and not go back to redo that.

I managed to pick it up very cheaply years ago so it sits there oddly next to the others on my shelf.

My hope is that they do the Spectre trilogy next then MWTGG.
Then follow up with the oddities FYEO, OP, TSWLM and the new LALD.
(I'm really keen to see what they do with FYEO)

Nice work @Birdleson ! I read DN when that arrived. I quite enjoy the slow process of the releases. Gives me a chance to enjoy each one and save cash for the next one (it's almost the only Bond thing I'm collecting at present) it felt like they were releasing them with at a high rate initially. Since late-2017 they slowed down and only released GF and DAF.

    Awesome!
So happy that LALD is coming soon.
Thunderball will probably come out first week of march as that is FS's usual spring release window.

Me too! Assumed they'd leave it until the end seeing as it was the only one they had previously released. Exciting though! Really looking forward to the illustrations for both. So much vivid description in exotic locations for Fay Dalton to interpret.

CR just arrived. My first Folio Society Bond, and it's a very nice addition to my collection. I'll be picking up Live And Let Die Moonraker next.

As i expected, the new Folios will be released next week. I bet Thunderball will be among them (i would much prefer LALD though) and it's probably the second from the top.

Mesdames et Messieurs, prepare your wallets.

Sneak peak from one of the Folio Books released tomorrow.

I am thinking this could be one of Daltons illustrations for Bond.
Does anyone have an idea what scene this could be for?
LALD or TB? I was thinking this could be the interogation scene from LALD when Bond and Mr. Big first meet.

It's the Thunderball SPECTRE meeting I think :)

I like the case cover art but surprised to find the rest inside underwhelmed me. I’ve loved all the others and had high hopes for TB too.

Personally, I thought LALD would be too controversial with the snowflake crowd nowadays. Seen as TB has just been released, do you peeps think that LALD will be next?

I'm a completest, so I'll probably not invest in the Folio novels unless they confirm LALD will be in their production run.

Then i have good news for you @royale65 LALD is already confirmed by IFP to be the next release.
    My guess is October.

I thought it would be. Just waiting for my esteemed colleagues to confirm it! Oh dear, my bank account is not going to be happy.

(Can't wait for Dalton to illustrate LALD's wonderful passages. Especially the underwater action from "Valley of Shadows")

I can't wait to see 50's NYC (St. Regis) and Harlem, as well as Bond's first trip to Jamaica. Flemings first description of it had something magical about it.

That's why I was very glad to hear there are returning to Jamaica for B25; it is Bond's spiritual home.

Very true. I hope the film will end with Bond retiring at Goldeneye. Perfect ending for Craig
