    Indeed! They’re all terrific!

Even though I got somewhat of a mixed feeling about it, the third cover (the snowy one) for Bond #6 reminds me awful lot of the video game XIII, which was based on the Belgian comic book of the same name.

If all goes right, we should have a total of 4 story collections by the end of the year: James Bond Origins 1 & 2, Oddjob and Live and Let Die. Come on, Dynamite!

Speaking of collections, I proudly have all of my Dynamite hardbacks on the shelf, apart from The Body. I’m struggling to find the want to buy it. Anyone else feel the same way?

Same. I’m not struggling at all, in fact. I just won’t buy that garbage.

    My Pleasure.

2019 will be a great year for Bond comics i believe. There will also be a lot of hype surounding the production of B25, i hope Dynamite will use it to their advantage.

Also i am really looking forward to LALD as it's currently still my Nr. 1 of Fleming's novels. A big reason for that is the scenery. I love the contrast between glamorous 50's New York and exotic, mysterious Harlem, as well as Bond's first trip to Jamaica in the novels.

So naturally i hope that they will find an amazing artist to capture all that. Denis Calero is a great artist, but very stripped down, mostly focused on bodies and faces. That worked well for CR, but for LALD I want someone who can draw the s*** out of backgrounds and scenery (well, and women)...

...And i know just the right guy for the job. Dan Panosian, you might have heard of him :D

There was a recent interview with Dennis Calero. He said another team is doing LALD. Your wish may come true! My wish is that they at least go to MR. In time for Bond 25 perhaps? I'm hoping, other than one misfire, Dynamite Comics gets James Bond.

Nice to see some love for Timothy Dalton, and big fans of the character doing the work, and being fans of all the media that comes with him.

One last thing. Dennis Calero retweeted this a couple of weeks ago. Foreshadowing his return for Moonraker? https://mobile.twitter.com/the00files/status/1086699393091358720

MR would be amazing in graphic novel form.

Has anyone read Oddjob #3? It’s a decent issue although really predictable. I feel like the reveal at the end could have happened at the end of #2. Arguably even #1!

Like a friend of mine pointed out, this is becoming more like Archer than James Bond. The childish bickering and rivalry between Oddjob and Bond is similar to anyone whom Sterling Archer sees as a threat to his presence.

I have to agree. The third issue was a bit meh. It's not a complete failure like the Body but every issue feels the same. The first one was outstanding, the second one was ok, but by now it feels like we are doing the same thing over and over and we still don't really know much about the plot.
Also i am missing a traditional Bond girl here.
I hope issue 4 will be an improvement.

I thought I will love this series way more than Origins. But so far Origins has actually been a very enjoyable read all the way through.

Oh definitly not. The first issue is in my top five of all Dynamite single issues and I really love the art. Issue three was meh, it can go either way now. Let's hope for the best.

For hardcover collectors like myself, Oddjob, (which is not what this collection is called) will be released on August 6.
