Hi all, sorry if this has been covered before. Are Jim Lawrence's comics from the newspaper worth reading? I'll leave a list and tell me which ones are worth collecting and which ones are not. The six that I'm looking forward to reading the most are River of Death, The Golden Ghost, Trouble Spot, The Phoenix Project, Night Bird and The Paradise Plot. Please give me your opinions.

Well, well, well... Unfortunally, there are (like mot of the Bond comics before Dynamite) not really exeptionals. Some of them include even fantastic things like in The Avengers TV show. But some of them are really cool (like The Golden Ghost, Trouble Spot, When The Wizard Awakes or Shark Bait).

Beside I was searching yesterday for an interview of Jim Lawrence and I was surprised to not find any : it's the guy who wrote the most James Bond adventures than any other Bond's Author and I couldn't find any interview of him...

There is such a thread. I'm not having luck finding it. RIVER OF DEATH was pretty good, but that's as far as I went past the Fleming adaptations.

RIVER OF DEATH is awesome. Would make a terrific film. Dr. Cat would make the upper echelon of villains.

Not an interview, but this excellent article on Lawrence's Dark Angel paperback series includes a few quotes from Lawrence and a lot of info on his non-Bond works:

Lawrence's most notable character was the comic strip reporter Friday Foster, played by Pam Grier in the 1975 film.
