    According to http://artsatl.com/atlanta-comics-writer-van-jensen-takes-james-bond-beginning-casino-royale/ :

Jensen has already written the script for Fleming’s follow-up, Live and Let Die, which he describes as having more action that fits with film-fan expectations. Illustration hasn’t begun, so he can’t predict a publication date, but he says that soon enough he will have Bond returning to Her Majesty’s Secret Service.

There is also for CR :

He admits there were parts of the original that crossed a line for him. “I gave [the Fleming estate] three things from the novel that were grossly misogynist. I said, ‘I just can’t write this. I can’t have my name on these phrases.’ And they were like, ‘Please cut that.’”

So I hope he will not cut the most offensives racist lignes, pass under silence the racism of Bond in LALD or use the US censored version. It's my only fear (even if he done a good job for include the sexism in CR).

    Thanks for the update!
Really looking foward to this. LALD is currently my favorite Fleming novel. I'm especially looking forward to see 50's New York and Jamaica realized on the Page.

Now I need to know what "three things" is he talking about... ;)

Surely this is one of them: These blithering women who thought they could do a man’s work. Why the hell couldn’t they stay at home and mind their pots and pans and stick to their frocks and gossip and leave men’s work to the men. And now for this to happen to him, just when the job had come off so beautifully. For Vesper to fall for an old trick like that and get herself snatched and probably held to ranson like some bloody heroine in a strip cartoon. The silly bitch.

Then he's gonna have a rough time if he follows it up with LALD!

Thank @Gerard - I'm collecting these as hardcovers rather than the single issues. Killchain seemed to take an eternity to come out in HC (not as long as CR though!)

I finally, yes, finally, received my copy of 'Hammerhead'. Quite the story. I like it. And indeed, the art is very good indeed.

Now I got this as a six-in-one hardcover version. Am I right in understanding Vagr has a similar issue? I prefer the hardcover versions anyway.

And is CR hardcover too? Thst one looks really nice.

You can currently get Vargr, Eidolon, Black Box, Felix Leiter, Kill Chain and Casino Royale as a Hardcover too.

If that is how Jensen feels, then why did he bother getting involved in the first place. It's Bond, did he expect? You wouldn't get involved in a Star Wars project, and set it completely on Earth.

ok i am done with the Body.
I have kept mostly quiet, but #5 just pushed it way too far.

Ales Kot has absolutely no grasp of who this character is or what the franchise is.
This is easily the worst piece of fan fiction that i have ever come across in 20+ years.
And i have enjoyed EVERY continuation author except one (Deaver, too many twists). And even he had a better grasp of Bond and the formula.

I am baffled at the fact that both Dynamite and IFP have greenlit this garbage.

Guess I need to catch up! I've bought, but not read, the last two issues.

Read The Body #3 and #4 just now. I understand Bond has a licence to kill, but the end of #3 felt more like The Punisher than James Bond.

It's been a long times that Dynamite haven't announce a new Bond comics (compared to 2017), only The Body 6 is scheduled to a precise date, maybe the sales of the last ones (exept maybe CR) are not satisfying?

Who can tell. I would rather think the Sales must have been climbing up, due to exposure and enough content, like CR and Kill Chain that got plenty of good reviews and should make the marketing easier. But maybe i am living in my bubble.

In regards to new series being announced, i am holding out for the August Solicitations again, which should be released any day now. If we don't get a new series announced this time i would start to worry.

I’m also waiting for a new title to emerge. I bailed out on The Body halfway into its run and already sold the copies of the first three issues that I have. It’s written by someone who hates Bond and is a knucklehead. Just like I expected.

After reading all the issues i can't even argue with that.
He just completely missed the point. If you are wondering how much he missed the point,
i brought you this easy-to-understand visual explanation.
If someone could forward this to him, i would be very glad.

He’ll probably boast about how “his Bond is canon” and “there’s nothing you can do about it.”

I’m surprised someone as idiotic and brain dead stupid is given the job. At best he’s an immature manchild whose arguments don’t even hold water.

Yupp, he actually did that already on his twitter channel. Even boasting about making Bond piss himself and how funny that was... All for the sake of controversy and provocation i guess. cheap gimmicks.

Thing is... I don't blame him for this controversy. I blame the ones employing him.

Perhaps Ian Fleming Publications saw this ordeal to be something fit for their IP.

It's a bit concerning to think that anyone (except Kot) thought this was a good idea.
Lets just hope there is a new series announced shortly, and we can forget this ever happened.

Let's hope so. And let us hope they don't allow an imprudent foolishness as such to embody the series, again. It would only make me doubt the intelligence of the license holders and the publishers.

Well, since Kot is constantly boasting about how much hate his series has been getting, i think everyone should know that his take was not received to kindly by a lot of fans.
I will skip this Hardcover as well, and usually i am a collector when it comes to this stuff.

It's as bad as Canada's first unauthorized Bond book, License Expired, if not worse.

Yeah that title certainly does not envoke any excitement in me, probably one reason why i haven't read it, and won't. Rogue Agent would have been a more fitting title for an unauthorized publication.
