Are Fleming novels still in print and in stores in the US?

This might've come up before but..

I wanted to ask my fellow Americans on the forums if they have seen Fleming's Bond novels in stock at their local Barnes and Nobles bookstores, because, for last couple of years I sure haven't here in Colorado. I would love to read them on my iPad too, but they are only present in audiobook form on iBooks (in English anyway). Why aren't they in print/in stores?

    I don't have a major bookstore around my hometown, but I know they're readily available on Amazon in both print and Kindle format.

    I'm not sure. I have a similar problem here in Minnesota. Of course it could be a rights problem. A while back Amazon won the U.S. publishing rights. Could it be that they are keeping them from stores? Not just book stores, but all? Never seen Bond at my local Target either.

    Hey I'm also from Minnesota! I haven't seen anything around, only at libraries!

    I see new editions in independent bookstores like Pegasus or Half-Price Books in Berkeley CA all the time. Barnes & Noble, no -- but then, B&N is in deep financial trouble. Gosh, I wonder why...?

    In Barnes and Noble, I've not seen them, no. The only other big chain bookstore remaining in the States, that I can think of, is Books-A-Million, and I've not seen them there, either.

    As to why, I can only imagine that shelf space is more valuable now than ever, and the level at which Fleming sells (or would be projected to) is below that the stores would require to give him the space.

    Yesterday I was in Barnes & Noble (New Orleans). Nothing!

    IFP’s inability to build a relationship with any serious publisher has not served them well.
    Their move away from Penguin to Amazon has been particularly catastrophic leaving them with virtually zero print distribution in the US.
    The books are available in paperback from Jeff Bezos’s outfit. Although the cover art looks like it was drawn by a disfunctional child.
    The situation is little better in the U.K.
    By comparison, John Le Carre remains in pretty good distribution.
    What a shame.
