Wax nostalgic about all that weird stuff we were exposed to as nippers, making us what we are today!

For example, these guys, who are the Three Musketeers but they're dogs:

I watched a loooooooooooot of TV as a kid. Being born in the mid 80s meant as kids we had it good and we even knew it back then. Saturday morning cartoons shows was the quintessential childhood ritual and I watched EVERYTHING! God, I miss the good ol' days if quality...even the opening and closing credit music/songs were frikkin' fantastic! Now it's all bullshit TV.

Oh, I loved all things Hanna-Barbera, especially Scooby-Doo. Velma is my role model.

Edit: and Thundercats is the thing I moved on to being obsessed with, after Dogtanian.

@Agent_99, to this day I'm still fond of all these. Scooby-Doo and the gang are obviously the leaders of the whole Hanna-Barbera shows. But, I can hardly name one I don't love... Well, perhaps Atom Ant... Not that fond of him. But, Huckleberry Hound, Yogi Bear, ESPECIALLY the Flintstones, the Jetsons... Need I go on? :D

I also find the Jabberjaw theme song quite funny as well as the intro. :D

Top Cat was another favourite, and Dastardly & Muttley in their flying machines. And let's not forget the first secret agent show I ever got into: Secret Squirrel!

Does anyone remember a cartoon where the villain always ties the heroine to the railway before the hero comes to her rescue? It s a distant memory for me, no idea what the name is.

I don t think so. The heroine always got tied to the railway as far as I can remember by the mustache twirling villain, and was rescued by the same hero every time. He may have been in a mountie uniform, but my memory is fuzzy.

Sounds like Dick Dastardly to me. I think he and Muttley had their own spin-off show from Wacky Races.

That could be it. Anyone knows the name of the spinoff?

It might be the Dread Baron. Have a look at that Wikipedia page.

Funny that Fleming references that old Western standby in TMWTGG novel with the Mary Goodnight doll.

We'll find it yet or die tryin'!

Oh, I loved Camberwick Green, and Trumpton!

Another great favourite was Pigeon Street, responsible for making a whole generation of little girls determined to be long-distance lorry drivers when they grew up:
