The name's 25. Bond 25, or rather, it's NTTD.

@ClarkDevlin are you questioning Lupe's acting skills? @chrisisall will be mad at you. ;)

The title will be "Murder On Wheels" :-)
  • I still think 'Death or Glory' would make a great Bond title. The phrase is used in You Only Live Twice when there's a discussion regarding trying to get Bond back in the service after the death of Tracy - 'nothing like death or glory to take a man out of himself'. As well as this, death or glory is also the motto of the Queen's Royal Lancers, a cavalry regiment of the British Army, which would give the title that real 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service' type vibe.

    Like it,
I think lines from previous classic Bonds could be a good source of new titles.

    "For Queen and Country"......

There is an obvious risk with that last idea......

I put forward the 'For Queen and Country' one before. Has a real OHMSS vibe about it!
Unfortunately John Boormans sequel to 'Hope and Glory' was titled same last year!

Aah was it ? I didn't know that Mathis1....well that kills that option then ....

Actually, this one just literally popped into my head,i don't know why : 'The Trigger Decides'.
    Bizarre but catchy.

I believe we talked about this a while ago, but I'm not sure. IS the HILDEBRAND Easter Egg in SPECTRE EON's way of saying, "We're never going to use this damned title, it doesn't work, this is the best your'e going to get." or is it there so that it can later be expanded upon in a future film, which fully exploits the title (though, probably having little or nothing to do with the original story)? I'd like to think the latter, but I fear it is the former. Any thoughts?

It seems a similar position to the 'Property of a Lady' thing in OP. Which means it is unlikely, but not impossible that it will be used.

I believe that's something Roger Moore said in A View to a Kill.

How about SNAPBACK? Or even..... BACKPACK? A new villain name maybe, haven't had those in a long time.

SKYFALL. SPECTRE. BACKPACK. It's the perfect end to the Mendes trilogy. :)

    Raoul Silva? Dominic Greene? Medrano?

I'm sure with a title like Backpack the next Bond film will be the highest grossing yet

Shatterhand. Could continue the Blofeld story well if they stick to the source material and don't cock it up
  • Nothing would please me more than to hear Shatterhand announced as the title of B25...unless of course we don't then get some version of You Only Live Twice.

We need some OTT and memorable names. The last one we got was Xenia Onatopp
  • Posts: 1,296
No @w2bond I meant a Bond film named after a villain. Like Balthazar Backpack, my new villain.

@IGUANA That would be cool, but would require an OTT name. Imagine it being called Greene, or Carver, or Graves. And would you believe only one Bond film has been named after a villain (2 if you count references TMWTGG)
