James Bond: World of Espionage - New game?

It looks like a new James Bond game came out on iOS and Android called James Bond: World of Espionage. Has anyone tried it out yet? What do you guys think of it?

The graphics and sounds are lovely--visiting Spectre and Skyfall look awesome. Happy to mentor anyone who joins the game. Here are some tips: http://bondfanevents.com/real-strategies-hints-for-bond-world-of-espionage/

What the actual fuck is this? Bond Tinder? Since when did Tiffany and Tania work for a high class escort agency?

That one screenshot alone tells me that the people who made this havent got a clue. Wouldnt surprise me if the slightest if the guy overseeing this for EON is David G '007 Legends debacle' Wilson.

Is it even so bad it is good or is it just plain bad?

It's a disgrace. It was obvious that the creators were trying to appeal to the toilet game audience (such as those shit mobile games with Schwarzenegger as the spokesperson), but failed miserably. Deleted by me as soon as it was downloaded.

It's a game alright. A "game" to test a fan's temper. I fail miserably too soon at it.

Seems a bit harsh criticising it for the only method of interaction available to a touch screen phone.

Like saying GE64 is shit because it's just 'press, press, press.'

It's Tanner simulator. Looking at those QOS style screens while taping something to get something done. Something interesting is going on behind the stupid screens but we don't get to see any of that.

My point in saying that was basically that the "game" felt more like a menu than a game. Especially when you compare it to the Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation game, from the same company, that was an actual 3rd person shooter.

    Brilliant.

Hope they can make a sequel on Occulus Rift where you get to experience what it's like to read out a huge paragraph of exposition then stand on the perimeter of a scene out of focus.

I didn't know 'Rogue Nation' had a game, so I had to look it up; you mean this clunky ass looking on-the-rails shooter? I know it's a mobile game, but hot damn, as bad as I want a new Bond game, I wouldn't want a new one so bad to receive something like that.

I deleted that game too. I just mean, in comparison to WOE, it's better.

@TheWizardOfIce, I think I have just the thing for you. Oh and sorry for the lack of effort of making it look 100% perfect, since the "game" and I use that term lightly, makers didn't put an effort into it, I won't either. =))

    Genius Sir!

Here's the blurb from the back of the box:

'Become Bill Tanner and experience all the excitement and thrill of being a mid ranking civil servant with no discernible personality.

    * Dont drive an Aston Martin!
    * Don't use any gadgets from Q branch!
    * Don't shag loads of gorgeous women!
    * Don'texperience any of the action, adventure or glamour of the James Bond universe.
    * Do prepare the minutes for the daily 11.00am heads of departments report.
    * Do check your inbox.
    * Do go home on the tube and eat a pot noodle in your pants while watching Pointless.

Bill Tanner World of Espionage places you in the role of the man that every man doesn't want to be and no woman wants between her sheets as you embark on a thrilling adventure into middle management.'

I'm guessing this is the game over screen if you don't play it.

Don't forget the Bill Tanner DLC, 'Under The Desk'. The objective is to make your way through each mission, hiding under the nearest desk whenever a firefight breaks out.

Bonus XP comes in the form of telling the other characters useless and/or obvious information.

I'm developing a DLC for the Tanner game called "Slippery When Wet," a top down title where you have to follow Bond on his way to a briefing with M while dodging big puddles of water strewn about the place. Every time you slip and fall an image of Q and his cats face palming appears in the bottom right corner of the screen.

@0BradyM0Bondfanatic7, about Q's cats, you could put the Moonraker pigeon trick on them.

I've got a great idea for a mobile Bond game. Stick with me here:

It's a simple defense/offense game, called Cuckoo, Cuckoo. It's a two player gaming experience set in a nest full of soon-to-be-hatched eggs, where one player is a bird with the face of Blofeld, and the other is a bird with the face of Bond. The player taking the role of Bond has to try and push as many eggs out of the nest as they can, and the person playing as Blofeld must defend the nest and protect the eggs before that occurs. In an approximately five minute game session, the Bond player wins if the amount of eggs pushed out of the nest exceeds that of those the Blofeld player protected, and vice versa.

    Thoughts? :D
