What is your breaking point that would make you stop being a Bond fan.

There is a lot of discussion in the "who could/should be Bond actor" thread about various candidates and other threads as well.

Many names have been mentioned and I think it would be good to get a sense of which names are the most popular choices with our forum members. This is not another discussion thread, we have that already, the purpose is to get to know who this forum would choose for the new actor, assuming Craig will not return.

It's simple. I have made a list with names and you can just add a "+1" to the man you would prefer best as the next Bond.
If the actor you like is not in the list, by all means add him to it!

I'll start.

I don't think the return of Brosnan is any sillier than 27 year old Nicholas Hoult getting the role.

I'm not convinced by a lot of the names on that list, but Brosnan returning? Come on, its too ridiculous for words!

If we're going to be this way then I'll got with Dalton again. Only 7 yrs older than Brosnan, and looks to be in better shape too (and aged better imho). I've always wanted him to get his third.

I agree bondjames, Dalton could still pull off the role convincingly. Am watching Penny Dreadful at the moment, and he looks terrific in it!

His joke vote for Brosnan doesn't really change anything, and who is to say that this is any sort of finalized list other than the hopes of fans? It's just as likely we get someone cast (once Craig departs) that nobody has really heard of. But, if we're remaining hopeful:

    1982 Dan Stevens - 0
    1981 Tom Hiddleston - 4
    1977 Tom Hardy - 0
    1972 Idris Elba - 0

@tanaka123, hey now, I was campaigning to keep your vote for Brosnan! Don't attack the help, or I'll permanently change your vote to reflect that you want Oprah Winfrey to play the next 007.

Hey @Creasy47 cool it, just saying it wasn't a joke man, if you wanna take it off I'm really not gonna complain to be honest - not really that bothered, if you wanna falsely say I want to go for Oprah go ahead, knock yourself out, it's just a bit fun this right? I mean it's just a film series after all.

It was obviously a joke, both entirely sarcastic and meant in good jest.

Okay...but I wasn't. Hence me saying my previous comment was obviously a joke, meant to be fun.
