I like the movie, but it's not all that.

    1. Titanic (Ugg...).
    2. Black Swann (I saw every twist coming and it didn't do anything to impress me. But I love Aronofsky's other works).
    3. Avatar (Overrated and...just what is it that makes it so appealing?).
    4. The Matrix (I can't get into these movies anymore. Especially after two and three).
    5. The Harry Potter series (I didn't dislike all of them, but I couldn't help but feel that some, if not most, of the later parts became muddled with filler and some prophecy BS that we've seen a thousand times).

Titanic (1997) Not seen Avatar but I'm sure if I'd wasted hours of my life on it, it would be here as well. James Cameron's over long SFX spectacular is an utter insult to this true life tradgedy. I know the simplistic love story between Jack & Rose is the pull of the film but it doesn't mean I have to like it, took me a while to recognise Leo as a great actor after this.

Avengers Assemble (2012) Had some moments but the last 40 minutes is just monotonous noise and CGI, this was when I knew the CB genre was not for me. I think the reason that I like Nolan's first 2 Bat films so much is they don't cleave to source material and it was his take on the character.

Batman (1989) Just a collection of scenes with hardly any cohesion, the fact it's called Batman is a joke, Joker is what this film should have been called, Nicholson is just playing himself in make up and it's his personality I see, unlike Ledger who utterly immersed himself in the role and delivered a genunie character and not an extension of himself.

Goldeneye (1995) Biggest Bond disappointment till recently, I was actually quite looking forward to PB taking on the role but while for me this is the one I'm likely to rewatch out of all his entries, I left the cinema wondering what had happened to James Bond, have been a fan since 1977 at the age of 5 and this was the first time I thought I couldn't really care where this was going and hoped for a change of the guard sharpish. If it was just about overrated and not dislike Goldfinger would be here but I don't dislike it I just don't hold it up like film critics and a good number of the fans do.

Forrest Gump (1994) Utter simplistic nonsense, this and Hanks previous film Philadelphia are a good reason that for sometime I really disliked him as an actor. I thought he was great with comedy ( Big is delightful). Whereas Demme's film is fine I thought Hanks was outclassed by Washington's homophobic lawyer, that was the real challenging role but the fact the following year he got the award again for this tale of a complete idiot who for my money made a mockery of U.S history. I have since grown to admire TH and think from Saving Private Ryan he has delivered some great performances.

SPECTRE (2015) Hate it no but my feelings makes this film for me now the biggest disappointment of the series, I couldn't give a stuff about the PB era now but I truly invested in DC's and if this is his last shout at the role it will be a great shame.

The Witchfinder General (1968) I'll probably get burned at the stake for this one (get it) but really I've seen scarier Two Ronnies sketches as for me that is what this resembled, an over long version of those late great British comedy icons output without the charm.

Dracula (1958) Another one, a complete snooze fest and nothing like the source material much prefer Copolla's very flawed version. Lee's vision might be iconic but Oldman's count is the closest this has got to Stoker's hugely influential novel, Hammer is just not for me I'm afraid.

Interstellar (2014) TDKR had for the first time had me doubting CN's track record but this nearly 3 hour snooze fest cemented that. This for me is his worst offering to date. I just hope Dunkirk see's him return to form, the subject certainly warrants it.

The Artist (2011) Gump syndrome here again, for some reason the Academy and film critics were seduced by this simplistic sentimental tosh. For me this is like Dances With Wolves winning over Goodfellas again. I don't hate DWW but The Artist is one of those films people have already forgotten and the fact that Jean Dujardin won best actor over Gary Oldman's mesmerising performance in Thomas Alfredson's masterpiece adaptation of Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy will be one of the great injustices of Oscar history just like Marty's snub for his gangster masterwork. TTSS is aging like fine wine whereas as The Artist stinks like mouldy vinegar.

I totally agree with @Shardlake on 'The Artist'. And yes, 'Tinker Tailor' and Oldman's performance in that film were vastly superior to the nonsense that won all the major Oscars that year.

I go along with what people say about AVATAR. hated it. Loved what some critic dubbed it, 'Dances With Smurfs'! More recently 'Birdman', pretentious rubbish with a self-indugent Director! And I'm glad someone else here mentioned E.T. I was always afraid to say anything against it. it was so loved by audiences and critics. But I hate it, little brats with a rubber turd alien, shot with murky photography and an annoying score! phew. glad to get that one out of my system!

SP is definitely not critically acclaimed, and GE only is by the most lenient definition.

To mention some already mentioned -

Avatar just seemed like a pretentious cartoon. Now "Dances With Smurfs" sounds great.

Charlie Chaplin is a cynical calculating Laurel & Hardy with all the jokes rung out.

Avengers Assemble - horrible title, why not Marvel's Avengers. The finale is just like the worst bit of Transformers - mindless cartoon stuff bouncing pointlessly around the screen.

How about the Usual Suspects - the twist at the end was "limp". Talk about totally predictable.

1-The Lord of The Rings film series.
    2-The Twilight film series.
    3-Skyfall.
    4-The Harry Potter film series.
    5-The Hunger Games film series.
    6-The Dark Knight Rises.
    7-No Country For Old Men.
8-Anything Disney (aside from 101 Dalmatians, the animated film)
    9-Carlito's Way
    10-Avatar
    11-The Deer Hunter
    12-Casino
13-The Star Wars film series. (Shoot me! I don't like 'em! Lol!)
14-MASH (That's what I call crap film with no real purpose whatsoever).
    15-Beetlejuice
    16-The Jurassic Park film series.

That isn't much, but I've only set few of the examples that really get too much recognition which none of them have been taken to my fancy, at all.

SPECTRE was incredibly rated here in the UK to the point of some broad sheet critics giving it 5 star reviews, it might not have had this happen in the U.S

I remember GE release and I assure you it was critically acclaimed enough for me to include it.

You are right on both accounts. SP got rave reviews in UK, they just fawned over it but elsewhere people were less flattering.

And for the GE release you are probably right, unfortunately all the Brosnans are retrospectively viewed more negatively.

The leading cultural magazine here in Belgium gave it four out of five. Although their points were valid I think they weren't severe enough for the terrible writing. Then again, the reviewer pointed out he didn't go to a Bond film for a good story.

K-19: The Widowmaker. I bought it because i like to see movie from this famale directer and expect i wil like it (i give it 6/10 close to 5.5 but i hoped on something between 6-7 atleast.)
The Matrix. Stil not understand/like it after 3 views. But i wil not giving up.
Lord of The Rings Return of The King
Finding Nemo. Expect to much from it.
    The Incredibles.
Crash. Not like it, but over rated the fair of my expections. Turn out to be tv movie.
Shrek. It take a whyle before i collect the sequel and also collect the other two. I whant re-watched.
Madagascar. This movie of 2005 my first view was in 2012. I like sequel more. Already have 3th movie, but the 4th movie take so long before made.
    Casino Royale
Ice Age 2: The Meltdown. Try to much to be copy of The Lion King.
    Flushed Away.
    Mission Impossible 3
    Spider-Man 2 and 3. Spider-Man 3 was realy bad. Spider-Man 2 i re-watched two times, but first is and stil the best.
National Treasure 2. Bought BD in 2015 and mabey second view i wil like it more.
    Yes Man
The Men Who Stare at Goats
    Monsters vs. Aliens
    The International. A dificult movie.
    The Tourist
Knight and Day. Tom Cruise as villian.
The Day After Tomorrow & 2012.
    Beautiful Creatures
Source Code. A dificult movie, but i wil give it second change some day.
    Skyfall
Spectre. My first thaught was my time as Bondfan is over and this movie can have been much more. Second view wil take longer then with Skyfall i am afraid and i try in mean time to not to re-watch scene's and inspecialy also not re-watching the maintitle.

Previous Saturday i re-watched Batman Begins for my 3th view and yesterday my second view/but first view on dvd of R-rated version of TDK before i wil watch TDKR soon. I following ''Arrow'' tv series and this time it work against Batman Begins, also i think it remember me by times to much of what not like from Skyfall. The Dark Knight growing on me, but stil not exited but better then my first view. It is 5 years since my first view of tv cut (12+) in 2011. Not realy know what difrence be. But i think it helps a lot i watched it 2hrs earlier, not needed to skip comercials and years that passing.

Here in Norway they were all over the place. From very poor to outstanding.

A "classic" that comes to mind is The Birds we did a Hitchcock marathon not long ago and while it does have it's moments, this film was a massive let down and not up to par for Hitch.
