Lovely jacket indeed! And I like it with a good white cotton shirt underneath. Nice contrast and complementary.

Personally, I think it's a good look for Craig. Classic and quite neutral. I like the texture of the trousers and the height of the turtleneck.
The problem with this type of sweater can be that the higher neck roll can look like an orthopaedic support unless you have an incredibly long neck. They haven't fallen into that trap and this one looks right for DC.
Stylistically, I also like the antique leather shoulder holster. An important accessory in the Bond world. It's like a watch strap for him - they put a lot of work into Sean's gun lore and it became part of his look.
Ironically, Fleming got the PPK holster wrong in the books. The Walther didn't actually fit a Berns-Martin holster.

Good point @Villiers53 - this is an example of good tailoring - arguably a turtleneck could look awkward on DC, but they seem to have gone with one with a short neck (compared to the one Moore wore as an example) so it looks fine on him.

I love the weave on the trousers.

They definitely got the small turtle neck right, Dan doesn't have the proportions like Rog for a big roll, plus that's sort of an anachronism at this point.

Daniel looks good in the turtleneck. One thing I've noticed that Bond doesn't wear an undershirt when he's in a suit/tux. Somehow a number of young fashionistas think it's OK to wear a t-shirt underneath a short sleeved polo shirt or even worse button up all 2-3 buttons on their polo shirt. It's not a good look.
  • Don't see how that has anything to do with the style of Spectre or Bond for that matter, unless I'm missing something.

Ok so a few weeks ago, I has predicted we may see a Turtle neck at some point in Spectre due to it being back in fashion lately. It was great to see the promo poster confirming they did go down this route. I also posted up a list of fashion houses who had worked on the other Dan Tenure films, one of which was Npeal who provided the Blue sweater under his Barbour in Skyfall. Can confirm the Turtle neck from the Spectre promo is by Npeal and can be purchased here http://www.npeal.com/shop/product/54f44efe6ff533000300007a/NPG-300-SPECTRE-Mock-Turtle-Neck-Sweater-Dark-Charcoal-Grey?img_index= for £199.00

P.S If you can't afford the real deal or struggle to get one due to demand then try http://www.yesstyle.co.uk/en/maxhomme-turtleneck-sweater-dark-gray-xl/info.html/pid.1037754099#productPageSectionTop and order a colour Dark Gray for £20.00

Still trying to ID the trousers believe they may be part of a TF suit for the film in which he swaps the suit jacket and shift for the top. Like they did in Casino when he swaps th black shirt for the Gray Sunspel and Armani leather jacket when he leaves for Miami.

I agree that Craig looks great in that picture. Perfect fit, great style.

Couldn't agree more. She looks to be a very elegant lady and I think that the idea to evolve very definitely into the arena of glamorous, strong Bond women as opposed to 'Bond girls' is a master stroke.
The last thing we want are the Kardashians rocking up! That said, if they are bringing back Irma as well as Blofeld there could be something for them to audition for.

The Mexico suit looks very good. Still a little Lagerfeldian with that point collar shirt, but way better than what we've seen in Rome.

Craig's Bond certainly does like to travel on the outside of buildings.

@JamesSpectre I agree with you. The Mexico suit doesn't look over the top but it is way better than the Rome outfit, with the tight waistcoat. For what we've seen for now, the two outfits I like the most are the Austria action sequence outfit and the Spectre Poster #2 outfit - I hope we get to see that outfit in the movie. I can't wait to see the first picture of Waltz on set, I can't believe we haven't seen a picture of him on set yet.

I'm relieved Daniel is wearing a suit at all in the Mexico scenes. There was a photo that led me to believe that he was going to be in a skeleton suit. That would've been awful.

@JamesSpectre I think that was an optical illusion, the guy next to him was wearing a skeleton suit, the woman next Craig on the other side hid what Craig was wearing

I realise the jacket will ride up when the arms are lifted high and trousers the same when stepping over things but in this new series of Mexico shots when he's 'neutral', as in, just standing straight with arms down I think the suit looks way too tight. There are a lot more photos online with more detail as they're a bit lighter than shown above so can be seen better.

The trousers look too short resting up past his ankles and the jacket is struggling to stay on him meeting at the front buttoned up. Doesn't a decent jacket need to cover the buttocks too? Craig's got a touch of the Hulk about him!

For safety he is wearing a body harness; I would think that has some effect on the fit of the jacket. If it was fitted to compensate for that it could end up appearing too bulky. It's a difficult balancing act.
Yes I realise the harness will baulk out his torso but we've been reading here about dozens of differing suit variations for use in every sequence and it still looks like he's wearing the wrong version for this sequence! Are the other versions still stuck in customs?

    What happened to stunt men?
To be fair to DC, doing a lot of his own stunts gives things added believability. May also be why there are always reports of him getting injured during filming!
Some of the reports aren't always accurate, like the "Daniel Craig bangs head in Car" report, which was later dismissed - I think the press just jump on any little titbit of information

I should have said erroneous reports!

Never let the facts get in the way of a good headline! Most usually start with a bold headline and then the further you read into it you discover "said an unnamed spokesman" who could in all actual fact have just made it all up!

The paper dodges the issue by saying they reported it in good faith by believing said person but deep down they know they're talking a load of bull if they didn't at the start themselves.

I fear those stuck in customs will be way too tight.
Somebody thinks this 'Honey I Shrunk The Kids' look is on trend and is correct for Bond.
I don't - I think they are for game show hosts and all who have experienced a style bypass!
Today, with the most minor adjustments, you could take Connery's wardrobe from DN or FRWL and wear it with pride.
This stuff will be for the read and laugh fille along with Sir Roger's flairs.
The art of sartorial elegance for men lies firmly in the classic.
There is simply no place for a badly cut suit.
    007 deserves better!
