I recently bought a couple of films on Bluray :

    X-Men 1,2,3
    X-Men Origins Wolverine
    Wolverine
    X-Men First Class
    X-Men Days Of Future Past
    Dark knight trilogy.
    Spider-Man Trilogy

Bought it all in one day.

Good collection, have all those accept Days of future past. I can't resist buying Bluray boxsets, make good ornaments too

    :)

    Exactly :)
Though I am running out of shelf space :-S

That happens sometimes when you have too many movies believe I know it.

    i'm planning to buy that.

Just watching the first film, it is a bit grainy at time with interior shots. Though the exterrnal shots look very good. Was only £12 for the box set, reasonably priced.

I just bought the first one, and watched it the other night. It looked great, but I never noticed that grain you speak of on the DVD... higher def hath it little problems, eh?

Indeed, though grain is not to bad to be honest its not that distracting. Lost world looked incredibly sharp, its a silly movie though fun and the Dinosaurs the star of the show. One thing I will say for two blockbusters that are 20 years old, they have something the blockbusters don't have a great deal of today... Tension and suspence.

Wish I had bought it instead of buying films separately. The captains summit is a great bonus feature.

My blu-ray steelbook of 'Desperado' arrived in the mail today (one day early, too!), so I'll be watching Antonio Banderas dual wield pistols and absolutely cut through some bad Mexicans this evening. I can't wait, it's one of my favorite action movies.

I don't recall who did the animation for The Ice Warriors, but it should have been Cosgrove Hall who did the animation for The Invasion.

Bought a couple of my favorites on BluRay the other day:
    The Big Lebowski
    Shaun of the Dead
    V for Vendetta
    The Punisher (2004)

All included Ultraviolet digital copies too (I love this whole digital copy thing!)

Best Buy also has a few Bond BluRays on sale for $3.99 each. I added the following to the collection:

    The Spy Who Loved Me
    Live and Let Die
The Man with the Golden Gun

Looks like YOLT, OHMSS, GF, and FRWL are also either currently listed at $3.99 or will be soon.

    GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY

My son saw it three times in the theatre, so I wanted to see what the fuzz was about. He thinks I will hate it.
