Nastassja Kinski? I have honestly never seen her act. I thought she always had an interesting look, though.

How about Juliette Binoche? She is wonderful, yet I don't hear much about her lately. I really don't know if people still like her or not.

I love Binoche, I don't know anybody who doesn't. (: She hasn't had any big blockbusters recently though, so that may explain why... It's like she's been replaced with Marion Cotillard.

She was great in Cat People & Terminal Velocity. Two movies that most haven't seen, I guess...

Terminal Velocity is a lot of fun. Some really good aerial stunts. Even Charlie Sheen is bearable.
I'm trying to think of any celebs I like that most don't, but am drawing a blank.

I think Cruise is a good actor (he was great in the Mission Impossible films and Tropic Thunder) but he seems like he's mental in real life. And he's a scientologist (so, in a cult basically) too.

I like him though (although I am angry at him for Jack Reacher, we're stuck with him in the role now even though he's completely wrong for the part).

Everybody always brings up the Scientology situation when criticizing him, but his beliefs are no stranger than those that others religions/belief systems spout. A lot of people live their lives in the hopes that a man in the sky will pass positive judgements on them when they die and allow them entrance into a utopia of the clouds, yet we're quick to call Tom the mental case? I in no way wish that to be a religion slam, I am only trying to point out that those criticizing Tom for a so-called "crazy" religion with a strange belief system could themselves be practicing one that is just as out there and other worldly.

You somewhat miss the point here. The criticism thrown at Scientology is not aimed at what the "church" believe, but how its run. Its indeed a controversial organisation. Other religions aren't run like totalitarian states with complete secrecy, observation cameras, blackmaling, a religius hierarchy where you have to pay ridiculous amounts of money to proceed up the ranks, etc... Although I agree wholehartedly that Tom Cruise's acting career shouldn't be judged on basis of what his religius beliefs are, I think its only fair that his public persona is being questioned as a member at the very top of such controversial cult.

I’m going to be controversial here, and regardless of what you think of him: Kevin Spacey. True, he did a lot of bad things in real life, but he gave some great performances. (Particularly American Beauty).

On the other side, I can’t stand Scarlett Johansson. She has no acting range whatsoever. She only has one facial expression. If you think I’m nuts for liking Kevin Spacey, she defends Woody Allen, while calling out other sex offenders. Hypothetical, Scarjo, remember Woody likes them young. You’re too old for him now.

An underrated actor. People usually don't even know who I'm talking about. Shame.

LOL I do. I'm laughing, because he usually makes me laugh. He likes playing villainous characters with dark comedy attached to it. Most notably in Robin Hood: Prince of thieves, The Three Musketeers & The Count Of Monte Cristo. And he has a very distinctive hoarse voice.

    Who?

No, I remember him as Moxica in 1492: Conquest of Paradise and that kidnapper Sonjee in Along Came a Spider. I also saw him in Seraphim Falls with Pierce Brosnan, but I don't really remember him in that. As GadgetMan says, he's got a hoarse voice. That and his dark looks make him appropiate for villains. But he's a good actor.

I remember Michael Wincott mainly from The Crow

I haven't seen that one, but it's in the cards. The only one of Brandon Lee's "mainstream Hollywood trilogy" I have yet to watch.

Highly recommend The Crow the film has a depth that is even more apparent because of the tragedy on set. I am a huge Bruce Lee fan and was a fan of Brandon, I felt certainly after The Crow he was destined to be a big star.

I saw him first on Rapid Fire and he had star power, for sure. And he was a good actor. I also liked how they took some of his real-life background and integrated it into his role (the idea of a dead father-- who in this case, died during the 1989 Tiananmen protests). 20th Century Fox had confidence in his star potential:

From how he conducted himself in interviews, he also reminds me of his father. They both appeared to be very confident and comfortable with themselves, to the point someone could mistake that quality for arrogance. Well, that's the impression I get anyway. I didn't know them personally. But Brandon Lee could have been a big star.

I had Rapid Fire and Showdown in Little Tokyo I am pretty sure they were on VHS though I threw all my VHS films away years ago. Brandon much like his father were self assured very much to do with there respective training philosophies on life.

I always look forward to a Michael Wincott appearance wherever he pops up—Basquiat, Dead Man, The Three Musketeers, The Crow. His voice sounds like he gargles gravel and cigarettes with his coffee every morning, but that's just a part of the unique appeal. I first saw him as the doomed Captain Frank Elgyn in Alien: Resurrection and will always think of him foremostly in that role.

Michael Wincott! I've never seen a performance from the lad that I didn't enjoy.
