Was sent this, translation from Google, don't know how reputable it is (possibly a rag mag) and of course the India news is now moot. Anyway it's doing the rounds, make of it what you will:

The good news: In November, the start shooting at 23 Bond. The bad: For Daniel Craig will it be the last. TV movie, he said, why
The news hits the core Bond fans: Daniel Craig (43) has had enough of martinis, shaken not care whether or stirred. Told the Brita younger and better, "One of the reasons: the drudgery to be in top form as a secret agent tougher." I prepare myself for a year before the movie. At the moment I train six days a week. And I hate it "First of all, but we must look forward to the new 007: Bond 23 promises a similar hammer like Casino Royale (2006) to be. Daniel Craig: "I was disappointed with Quantum of Solace. The third film, because I'm sure is at least as good as my first Bond! "

No more anger-Bond

50 years after the 007-debut Dr. No is the motto of the jubilee-Bonds: Back to the roots. That means that in his third adventure as a secret agent, Daniel Craig avenger less full of anger, but more English gentleman with style. About the Story is the cloak of silence, but we know that the Quantum organization pursue its murderous plans, this time also affect the Bonds family. The agent enters therefore in Scotland in search of clues - location scouts have recently Dunnottar Castles, Castle and Craigievar
Fraser examined.

Bond goes Bollywood

For months, director Sam Mendes (46, American Beauty) and producer Barbara Broccoli (51) in search of spectacular locations - including They were spotted in Istanbul, Turkey, Egypt, Abu Dhabi and New York. In April this year, they visited Cape Town in South Africa, where the 1087-meter high table mountain scene is a wild chase: Bond races the curvaceous, shrouded by clouds street and out of the cable car that leads to the top of the mountain shot. The car comes to pitching, but James is cool ... One month later, Mendes came to India and saw, among other things to Ahmedabad, a city of nearly five million people counted in the state of Gujarat. In Ahmedabad yard is an expensive bike and rail-action sequences are filmed. That will not be the only location in India: From
For January to March 2012 makes the 500-strong film crew first stage in the 21-million metropolis of Mumbai in western India station, the first scenes of the still untitled strip: On foot, by bicycle, rickshaw and by car 007 chasing a Quantum killer through the bustling Crawford Market, past the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, the railway station was completed in 1888 in the south of Mumbai, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Since not everything can be implemented on the busy streets of the metropolis, a team of set designers and technicians traveled to Mumbai in October. In the Big ND Studios, they are to prepare the explosive chase. A source said: "The new technical tricks Bond pulls out all the stops."

United Kingdom Bond

Despite the international Sets - Bond 23 is very British! In addition to Oscar-director Sam Mendes and Daniel Craig and Judi Dench are 007-head (77) and the new Miss Moneypenny Naomie Harris (35, 28 days later) from the island. And yet someone comes home from the bond: the title song to pop star Adele (23, Rolling in the Deep) to contribute. The 150 and 200 million dollar new 007 adventure will be celebrated in the last week of October 2012 in London, its world premiere. On 01/11/2012 the start hopefully best Bond of all time with usish TV movie in an exclusive interview: "The Bond character has changed my life.

Fake. The original article claims that Craig said he has been training for a year for Bond 23, which is not true.

Egypt, Abu Dhabi and New York as locations? ha-ha-ha

Well realized the mistakes scattered in it (not that daft), but interesting piece about Scotland.
As for "training" for B23, Craig constantly hits the gym so where is the fine line of "keeping in shape" and "training for Bond". The man is always in shape. ;-)
As for the locations, it said they were scouting, and why not NY? Sounds plausible to me.
Everyone's an expert or cynic I guess.

The original source is a German TV Mag, so this says it all. I am pretty sure, (and I followed his interviews during his recent visit here for C&A) he didn't have a talk with them at all to start with. He didn't train for 23 for a year either, which they claimed and he is taking it one by one anyway...so bs IMO. PLUS he always said, he loved the physical side of those roles (Bond, C&A) but yes, he hates hitting the gym, but who doesn't?

If NY were true we would have heard about it way earlier. The same with Egypt and Abu Dhabi.

TV movie is the LAST source to know anything...so unless its on deadline or some such - just forget about it.

Honestly while it's probasbly fake the plot bits sound interesting and I'd love bond to return to new york but since Daniel is my Favorite bond I would hope this is fake :D

I do like the locations mentioned but murderous plot involving Bond's Family uhm what Family?

Don't know, orphan or not, maybe he finds he has some somewhere, not totally implausible.
What I find interesting is how so many people really really know what B23 is about...love their confidence on here.
Also maybe Craig will not take the option for a 4th film, that's not implausible either, maybe he's changed his mind about playing Bond, people can do that. He loves being Bond but the hoopla that goes with it may prove the deciding factor.
If this film is a huge hit, he might go out on that.
All sorts of tangents in Craig's mind that we are not privy too but love how people are confident that they do.

Sure, you are all fired up to do the next and already know, you are tired of it. Makes a lot of sense. ..and surely DC explained exclusively to TV Movie Germany, what the plot is all about.
    S. Tesche, who wrote it though, is an acclaimed Bond "conaissaur" for many years, which gives the whole thing a certain credibility. Still - would DC or anybody give THAT sort of information to a German TV Mag? I don't think so - its all about twisting words either read in another interview or given to you IMO

If you read my disclaimer at the top of the article, that will give you my answer.

It's called friendly speculation and I don't get why POV's are targets for cynicism. If you don't like the thread don't read it.

This thread isn't designed for nastiness. May I suggest you take your vitriol off here to somewhere else.
I'm sure this forum and James Page will appreciate peace and quiet without another witchhunt.
    Thanks.

What garbage. I knew when I saw the quotation from "Dan": "First of all, but we must look forward to the new 007: Bond 23 promises a similar hammer like Casino Royale (2006) to be. Daniel Craig: "I was disappointed with Quantum of Solace. The third film, because I'm sure is at least as good as my first Bond! ". He would never speak in that rhetoric, and it is unlike him to trash a Bond film and praise one so highly as saying it is better than CR before it even releases.

I agree to the first part but he DID say, he is even more excited about this script then he was about CR in those C&A interviews with Jon Favreau. But no, he is not one to trash anything easily...
