I hope that this tread doesen't exits already....
One thing i always have wonder about is if Ouromov is in team with Alec from the beginning in GE, and if Alec had already created the " Janus Group " at that time?

The second thing is, which person is it who takes the dead admirals identity in Monaco aboard the military ship?

In answer to the first question is yes,the fake shooting of 006 proves this to be the case,Trevalyn is only injured because Bond shortened the fuse times.
the second question is more difficult to answer, and there was a large thread on this on the old forum i think.Personally i think it is 006 and he then steals the Tiger helicopter with Onatopp.

Indeed, Alec is in league with Ourumov from the start. His "death" in the PTS was to allow him to be reported killed in action, which in turn would allow him to set up the Janus syndicate. He chose the name Janus (the two-faced Roman god) after the Arkhangelsk facility was destroyed, scarring him on one side of his face, implying that the Janus syndicate was formed after that event.

The person who takes the dead admiral's identity is supposedly Ourumov, although there has been a case argued that it was, in fact, Alec. However, if you consider that Ourumov and Xenia arrive together in the stolen Tiger at Severnaya, it is quite likely that it was Ourumov that was the other person involved in the theft, operating on Alec's orders, although this is fairly open to interpretation, I think.

He does but i'm not sure they flew there immediately - it's a tough one.
The swaggering walk as the 2 'pilots' walk to the helicopter before they steal it would make me think its 006 ,but that could just be my interpretation of it.

Ouromov was taller than Xenia i believe - the person who steals the helicopter with Xenia is roughly the same height, or a little taller...

my belief is, is that it's 006 and Xenia who steal the Tiger... then, they find a safe port somewhere, where Ouromov takes over with Xenia, as he would have clearance to the Severnaya base..

because if it was a straight flight through - how would they change clothes mid flight??.. not to mention, Monte Carlo to Severnaya (somewhere in Siberia) would suck up a large amount of fuel.. they would've had to have stopped somewhere, to ensure they had enough fuel to get there and then leave quickly..

Right, i wonder how MI6 couldn't detect that Alec and Ouromov was " partners "
And, Ouromov and that general isn't that similair in their appearels. Still there is some question marks!

I am inclined to believe it is Alec that steals the Tiger, as otherwise what's the mystery? Why not show his face? But most accounts seem to suggest it is Ourumov. I think it's cooler if it is Alec, but then I guess it doesn't really matter. The ultimate person behind the theft if Alec, after all.

    OK, here is my admittance.
In CR, Bond kills the African chappie and the body is stuffed in the trunk of a car. The police are alerted and the body found whilst Bond watches from the balcony. Yep?
Well, my question is (and I've never ever figured this), who was the dude who owned the car and was arrested on the spot?

I know it's probably obvious, but it gets me every time.
