This is an interesting guide to all the countries 007 has visited and the hotels he has stayed in.It has faults but that makes it more of a discussion topic ;) :

    Plus, some of the countries, even if they have appeared in movies, have not been visited by Bond (Uganda in CR '06, South Africa in DAF, for example). And let's not forget that some of them had different names when 007 visited them (in FRWL, neither Serbia, nor Croatia existed yet ; it was Yugoslavia). Not to mention the two fictional countries Bond visited (San Monique and Isthmus) which are not on the map.

    This is intereseting. But I'm also a little confused... :-?

    I take it this is a list of all locations Bond has visited both according to the storylines of each film and also for "stand in" location shooting. (The filmmakers never really shot in Uganda, Madagaskar Pakistan or Afghanistan for instance, and Norway was never credited as a location in DAD to mention a few...)

    But if so the list has som inaccuracies. Why isn't LTK listed with Mexico for example?

    Great piece of trivia, @Barry007! Thank you. I guess I can't choose between the three CR hotels but yes, they are my favourites of the ones mentioned on the map.

    I didn't know there was a Bond film called Thunderbolt based in the Bahamas.

    Skyfall needs to be included.

    If this is a list of filming locations, as suggested by Karlovy Vary in Czech Republic standing in for Montenegro, then it should not include Bratislava, as Vienna doubled for it.

    It was Czechoslovakia at the time. Plus it looks like it includes filming and locations portrayed in the film.
