Listen to the track "Battle at Piz Gloria" from OHMSS soundtrack at 0:45-1:00 and from 3:10 to 3:22.

Then listen to the first 6 seconds of the track "Following the Diamonds" from Diamonds Are Forever.

They're the same cue of music.

Very sharp Walecs! But I think it's just coincidence.

I need to get more of the Bond soundtracks. I only have the DAF one on casette tape. Well spotted, though. The same music is used at points in John Barry's scores for The Quiller Memorandum and The Living Daylights too, rather interestingly.

It could be some kind of recurring theme for Barry, just like Tomorrow Never Dies (Surrender) opening brass notes for David Arnold, which appeared in:

    - The World is Not Enough, Come in 007, your time is up at 4:12
    - Die Another Day, Whiteout, at 2:02
