Was Kanangas death an afterthought?
Look at the footage. The part where he inflates is vastly inferior in terms of quality of filming than the rest. There's a shot showing the bubbles forming in the water and again afterwards. It looks as though the original idea was to have him explode in the water, but they then added the ridiculous bit. A bit like the end of jaws 4, if anyone has seen that.
Thoughts?
