SHADEMAKER - released!

SHADEMAKER

Constellation Studios' third and final Bond film is underway.
Here is the teaser trailer:

The film's teaser poster can be seen here:
http://www.constellationstudios.org/spip.php?rubrique158

In 2007 Constellation Studios released Shamelady. In 2012 Constellation Studios released Shatterhand.

In July 2011, the idea to close a James Bond "sha-logy" was born in the production crew’s mind when a set worthy of Ken Adam pushed us to quickly shoot a scene for 007.

It was the start (and shall be the ending scene) of Shademaker, our third and final James Bond thriller. Another stand-alone scene was written and shot in July 2012. Since then Eric Saussine wrote a script that allowed the crew to shoot for an entire week six months later, just before Shatterhand was released.

Shademaker’s raison d’etre was to close the story started in both previous films and to take advantage of the new High Definition formats that were not made available to us until after our second tribute James Bond movie.

Non-professional special effects are sometimes inadequate. So this final entry will be more of a thriller in spectacular settings - not devoid of a few VFX - rather than vainly trying to be "something big". We certainly hope you'll like it. It should be available on the Internet in a year or more.

Stay tuned.

I like that the star has a very 'Lazenby' look to him. Always thought he was a great-looking Bond, and your man certainly captures that.
  • QBranchQBranch Always have an escape plan. Mine is watching James Bond films.

Shademaker? Hmmm... is your villain, by any chance, Monty Burns?

    ;)

Seriously now, this looks great. I watched Shatterhand, and love the amount of time and effort you guys put in. I must get around to watching the first one in the trilogy.

Neat artwork and photos, too. I particularly like the third one down. Very Bondian.

Agreed- I was amazed at how much I saw Lazenby in his looks, with a touch of Brosnan IMO.

    Congrats!
  • Hi ianintheuk, 90% of the movie is shot. I am in the midst of editing footage shot at Piz Gloria - yes, Bond and Spectre do a come back there, long after the OHMSS years. We shot the aforementioned Bond girl this summer. We also shot a commando attacking Bond and a fight with a henchman next to the swimming pool of a luxury villa. Only MI6 scenes remain to be shot and a lot of pick-up shots. I'd like to make the movie available before "Spectre"... as "Shademaker" and "Spectre" may have quite a lot in common. BTW there will be one point where I will need true English voices to dub the movie as my esteemed collaborators' English leaves much to be desired. If the British among you think you have the best of voices to be M, Tanner and villains, please tell me.

Thanks for your interest, as well as to you, SirHillaryBray!

    Sent you a PM mate.
  • I have a friend who is a professional radio presenter shall i send some details. Is M a male or female in this film
  • Hello ianintheuk, SirHilaryBray has offered to dub M and will send a test to me in January. However there are many other parts to voice, like Tanner, an American congressman and many others. If your friend is willing to participate, the game's afoot.
  • Ok i have your email from when we corresponded about the sub titles on Shamelady i will email you a voice tape as soon as i can

So what is this exactly? A fan-made Bond film?
  • Thank you ianintheuk. I'll then tell what part would fit. Sark, we call it a "tribute movie", but yes in essence this is a fan-made Bond film. 90/95% of the movie is shot.

I am an actor and I have done some work here in Sweden but also in England. My last project was "Thomas Quick: Creating a serial killer". I speak perfect british and I would be more than happy to feature in the movie! So if you have any part what so ever, I'll do it!

These films were in standard format. Our Bond #3 SHADEMAKER is being shot in HD.
We hope you’ll enjoy these films.

Fromswedenwithlove, if you are willing to do some audio work for the movie you are most welcome. It is not very difficult if you can record your voice with equipment adequate enough for a movie. I have a few characters to dub (Tanner, Spectre "numbers", main henchmen…). Where can we see "Thomas Quick: Creating a serial killer" or other work you did ?

Perhaps I'm a bit slow, but I can't figure out how to download the film and english subtitles. When I click the link that says download SHamelady it opens a window that plays rather than downloads the film.

edit: well I've managed to download it, and followed the directions with regard to the subtitles. when i play in windows video player the subtitles don't show up, when i play in vlc they do but the video aspects are off, and when I play in divx it doesn't work

In the Windows player, there is a menu to activate the subtitles which is not "on" by default. In VLC the movie works perfectly with default settings. I have just checked. Your VLC player must have the wrong settings. In the video menu, "scale" must be on and "Aspect Ratio" must be on "default". Relaunch VLC if the effect is not immediate. I hope this will do it for you.

I don't use divx much, but changing the .avi extension (which must be made visible thanks to the options of your Explorer) into .divx could do the trick.

For movie subtitles in general the trick is to have video and subtitles files have the same name - except for the .avi / .srt extensions of course. Some players such as VLC use to play the subtitles automatically then.
  • If all goes well, M, Tanner et Moneypenny scenes will be in the can tomorrow. I'll do everything I can to release our movie in September. You can't possibly imagine the number of details Shademaker has in common with Spectre. Expect we started work when they were doing Skyfall. But we are small and the coincidences are funny. The "Chapel" is the latest one. We have one chapel in the snow in Shademaker.

CASINOROYALE, I sure do remember. Welcome back!

and mib, for Italian subtitles I would have to find someone who knows Italian and willing to write all the dialogue in that language.
