Wont happen in Craig's tenure, and with him the chances of close-to-the-book-Bond driving a book-Bond car on screen dwindle rapidly. It'll be 2018 or 2020 at the earliest, they don't seem to be in a hurry. It's really quite silly to advertise the idea of a car whose segment (coupe, convertible, or sedan) hasn't even been decided, let alone designed yet.

I feel Bond is going the way of Jaguar / Land Rover-Range Rover. They were everywhere in Skyfall: M's car, M's other car, Bond's transport to the 'New Digs', another Range Rover seen parked at the 'New Digs', and the grey Landie at the opening of the film.

With the new F-Type, a new 'sports sedan' just around the corner, and arguably the best off-roading luxury brand... It's almost guaranteed Jaguar / Land Rover-Range Rover wont have to work hard to keep Bond in their products.

More chance of that happening I would say? Then again he has flirted with Lotus and BMW so you never know? Their are also a lot of nice looking Bentley models to choose from also!

From Russia With Love. Though he didn't drive it. He was with Silvia and he got a call.

II'm trying to put a picture on here. How do I do that?

You have to upload it to a site like Imgur or Image shack then put the link in between this brackets [ img ] [ /img ] though remove the spaces.

You got to be out of you mind. Only Bond Villian Vehicles are sometime Merc,Jaguars & sometimes Rolls Royce. Remember the Rolls Royce & Bentley Partners days anyone :-w , I remember in Sean Connery era he was seen with the classic Bentley before Aston Martin DB5 in Russia with Love& the unofficial Never Say Never Againsimilar one, he to to porter it still in good shape. It would be good for Bond on a Bentley one day.

Agreed. Whether it'll actually happen though is another thing entirely. Bond should be wearing Rolex's too, not Omegas.

Land Rover better not be Bond's car of choice that's for sure!

Gentlemen..gentlemen...please don't let a Yank bring peace to the room.

In the Young James Bond series, Bond's aunt drives a Bentley and in a subsequent novel Bond sees the same model for sale and plans to buy it with casino winnings.

I once saw a Bentley convertible-right hand drive going up Interstate 55 towards Chicago. The top was down, it was about 40 degreesF and the driver had a Burberry coat, scarf and plaid hat. I didn't want to pass him for almost 10 minutes, as I wanted to drink in the moment.

    Bond: "Where's my Aston?"
Q: "Oh it's had it's day I'm afraid. You'll be using this Bentley Continental with modifications."

I would love Bently for bond

Sorry for bumping this thread, I was searching to see if there was already a thread for a topic I wanted to discuss (the best Bond car of the novels) and I came across this, just wanted to add something

@Birdleson Bond also drives a Bentley in NSNA. It's not featured much but he has an old fashioned Bentley (not sure what model but it was an old one) as his personal car which he drives to Shrublands. I thought it was a nice Fleming touch to put him in a vintage Bentley, even though it wasn't actually the same car that Bond had in the books (the blower Bentley).

EDIT: It was a 4 1/4 litre 1937 Bentley, so yeah, different to the one in the books (1930 4 1/2 litre). Here's a picture

I just love Bentley's old and new.
I saw the actual Bentley (reg GK3841) as driven by Ian Fleming parked in London's Berkley Square last year and had a chat with it's owner and his not unattractive wife.
What a car! It's British Racing green, has the Villiers blower and is in concours condition.
God knows how much it's worth and it must be very difficult to handle around town albeit the current owner has no problem. He jumped in and drove off as if it was a Mini.
One thing he did say was although the car attracts a lot of attention, few people know that it was the original Bond car and he was quite impressed that I knew it's provenance.
I'm not sure Fleming actually owned the car but it was certainly the vehicle he posed in for Life Magazine.
As for Bentley in the books and movies - absolutely and if there has to be an Aston, let it be a DB111.

I never saw the episode in Wheelers Dealers when they did the Bentley Mulsanne Turbo 1,800 pounds more what they on their Aston Martin DB7. That look like a good profit. If Bond Bought the car he would bought more then the fellow who bought from Mike Brewer.

Ed should be Bond's mechanic. Should be my mechanic actually lol ...

I would love to see Bond in a Bentley. Way more reliable than AM.

Off topic but I want an Interceptor bad.

Wont happen full stop EON's relationship with Aston Martin is rediculously tight knit. The fact that Aston Martin made the DB10 just for Spectre goes to show that even though they are one of the top luxury car manufacturers in the world, they will do anything to hold on to Bond and keep EON happy.

Can the next Saint drive a Bentley too. Since we know new The Saint film underway. I just hoping this to keep away from a new 4 cylinder Volvo.
