Wow that is a real milestone for this site as CBn Forums only dates back to late 2000/January 2001 I believe. That means MI6 was created on 11th January 1998 then? Well done to all behind this truly wondrous site. Thank you to all involved and to all the members who make this place what it is: the premier James Bond forum on the net.

    HAPPY 16TH BIRTHDAY, MI6!

    Happy B-day, @www.MI6-hq.com!

    celebrationtime.jpg

MI6-hq has always been, in this life and its previous one, my main source for Bond related information. The regular updates and valuable sources are its primary distinction among all other Bond websites on the Internet.

I started visiting the website on an almost daily basis back in 2000. It immediately was clear to me that this place would give me the best intelligence on Bond. It took me a while to realise that by 2005, the site had also established a great forum. I actively began participating in march of that year.

For 16 years, a small team of great people has been running this website with infinite enthusiasm. I think we should especially thank @JamesPage for all the good he brings us through MI6-hq.

@marketto007, for the posters, you could have used the pose both Connery and Craig share and show them back to back.

Congratulations MI6. =D> I have been using the main page for my source of Bond news, now, for 11 years, and though my tastes have changed, MI6 is still my go-to place for Bond news.
  • Indeed. A salute to JP and all the admins and mods for keeping the ship on course. And to all my fellow Bondaholics as well. It's due to the contributions of everyone that MI6 is the ultimate website for all things James Bond on this planet or any.

A round of drinks, of course, is on Dimi ;) :))

Thanks to everyone for keeping this great Bond site going!
It has long been my favorite. 16 years is a long time, isn't it?! That's just great.

Thanks, @Marketto, for your lovely homage. I really like those!

As for drinks, I'll have a mojito today - and thanks for leaving off all the paper umbrellas! ;)

    Cheers!

  • In the words of David Lee Roth, I'll settle for that tall glass and a glazed donut- to go!
    OK, so I'm dating myself.

It's been a pleasure to begin my 7th year between here and KTBEU. All other sites pale in comparison. Another round and well deserved hand =D>

Many happy returns to the only James Bond site worth visiting for up to date news, and a forum with a real community.
It was the first Bond site that I visited, and is the only site I visit on a daily basis.
    Here's to many more.

Don't you mean the Bond and the Bees? :))
  • Sixteen years is quite an achievement. I didn't realize the site was as old as that. Take this opportunity to thank @JamesPage for all the work and effort that has been put in and presenting one of the best places for James Bond news and involvement on the web. Not only that, but other authority figures for keeping order and a pleasant environment and all other participants together which collectively, make the pages the success they are, have been, and will continue to be

A big Happy Birthday to MI6. I've said it once and I'll say it again: this forum has become a home away from home for me, filled with many wonderful members that make both grand discussions and fun filled frivolity a daily guarantee. All this wouldn't be possible without those behind the scenes that keep the old girl up and running, and for that I thank each and every one of them for their service. Here's to many more for MI6!

Congratulations to all at MI6 past and present for all their wonderful work! It's my most visited site as my better half would testify too! :))

http://www.mi6.co.uk/ and mi6forums.co.uk exist since 1999 to 2011. From 1999 to 2002 and from 2002 to May 2011. This part of the forum (May 2011 not March as profiles claimd.) be part 3. I discover Mi6 in late 1999 , subcribe in June 2001 at same time of CMB who exist since 2000. The intenet exist since 1998 and i start with it in 1999.

    http://web.archive.org/web/20000816124320/http://www.mi6.co.uk/
Start with a Gunbarrel who is stil working there and i only remember the logo.

25 January 1999 til 25 November 2013 it claimd the web adres exist. http://web.archive.org/web/19990415000000*/http://www.mi6.co.uk./ But the copyright on the earlier link said 1998-1999-2000. But this is also incorrect since August 2011http://web.archive.org/web/20140515000000*/http://www.mi6.co.uk./ the webadres be from CMB and stil working.

Example how the Mi6 site look like in 2002
