LALD and TMWTGG sometimes switch places back and forth- I like both a great deal.

No contest for me. As much as I think Goldfinger is overrated, it's still far far superior to the other three abominations, which make up 3/4 of my bottom four.
    So:
    1. Goldfinger

    2. Diamonds are Forever
    3. Live and Let Die
    4. The Man With The Golden Gun

    1. Goldfinger (4/23)
    2. Live and Let Die (10/23)
    3. The Man with the Golden Gun (15/23)
    4. Diamonds Are Forever (18/23)

    1. Goldfinger (1/23)
    2. Live and Let Die (17/23)
    3. Diamonds are Forever (19/23)
    4. The Man With the Golden Gun (23/23)

The line of shame is between LALD and DAF, for what it's worth.

    For me:

    1. TMWTGG
    2. DAF
    3. LALD

    4. GF (Kentucky is not a particularly visually interesting locale for me. The locales in his other 3 films are much better utilized IMO)

That said, though, I'm not a fan of any of his Bond films. All four of the above rate pretty far down on my list.

    Live and Let Die

    Diamonds Are Forever

The Man With The Golden Gun

Not my favourite Bond director, and Goldfinger works because it stay close the source material, certainly closer than any other films he made.

    1. Live and Let Die.
    2. Diamonds are Forever.
    3. The Man with the Golden Gun.
    4. Goldfinger.

Goldfinger is probably the Bond film I watch the least.

Aside from LALD being passable, Hamilton's three-film run was the absolute nadir of the franchise. And this man directed GF!!!

    1. Goldfinger - It's not even close. The others look pathetic in comparison.

    2. Live And Let Die - It's not bad, but not good either. It has its moments of both.

    3. Diamonds Are Forever - Connery's still classy and confident, but he's hardly even a pale shadow of his former self. There's some witty lines, but in a comparison like this where I have to rank DAF against something like GF, it's no comparison in any sense. Blofeld is turned into a fine-dressed Englishman, rather than a megalomaniacal mastermind, and SPECTRE as an organisation is practically non-existent. Instead, we get two remarkably ineffective (and more comical than anything else) killer duos. Yeah, Bond's fallen pretty far since the days of FRWL and GF. It's fun, but you can't really mention DAF in the same sentence as GF. And people blame Roger Moore for making things comical...

    4. The Man With The Golden Gun - Almost the worst Bond in the franchise, IMO. There's so much getting in the way of the actual premise of the story (and most of it isn't good) that I once considered this the worst Bond film ever. I now rank MR and DAD below it, but still...

Personal preference. Quality wise, I'd rank them:

    1. GF
    2. LALD
    3. TMWTGG
    4. DAF

I just enjoy the OTT/campy Bond films more.

I don't like any of these films. They range from tedious to stupid all the way to flat out awful. He's the one repeat director who I never understood why he kept getting hired.

    1. Goldfinger
    2. Live and Let Die
    3. The Man with the Golden Gun
    4. Diamonds Are Forever

Because many consider GF (including me and the general public) to be the greatest of Bond films. Also, his first three did astounding box office. That's why he kept getting hired.
