    Goodhead?
  • You would think that with 16 clues it would be fairly easy, however I am stumped!
    How about :-? Domino?

Well the time is upon us, so let's get going one last time. This was the round that was cut off from last fall so it's being resurrected in all it's glory. Watch a master at work

#1 I am a figure of quite significant importance

#2 I was told to do something

#3 I was not to do something

#4 You won't see me in 'The Safety Dance'

#5 I saw, which is (or was), essentially, the very title of that years release

#6 Something very dangerous got a little too close to me

#7 Some people may think I'm not a very nice or helpful person

#8 My name, or who I am, is mentioned at least once

#9 I got very close to (another) most pivotal and significant character of that years release

#10 The sky was a multitude of expansive and effervescent colors

#11 Half of what I am, or who I am, provided some serious danger or jeopardy to myself

#12 I can usually sleep easy after dark

#13 I was asked to investigate something, the results were, that someone was pleased, and that someone was not too happy

#14 The final scenes I witnessed were a scene of mayhem and confusion

#15 I can usually be associated with a particular color

    bonus clue

#16 I could of been in Rising Sun, but not with Sean Connery

    Take it or leave it

Just moving this onto the new page. Is this just a combination of every clue you've ever used all at once @Baltimore? I'm very perplexed by the familiarity of them all...

Is it Patrice. He did fall from the sky in Skyfall..
  • Colonel Moon maybe?

I'm still staring at clue #10.
Okay, my first lame guess is: Jinx

This character is one that is under the radar or one you simply don't notice.
  • Dr. No or James Bond in Dr. No?

If names have been guessed, can we get the list of incorrect guesses?

How about we have a go at Kwang from LTK.
  • Paris Carver.

Not very confident but some of the clues made me think of her.

Not feeling too good this night so going to be quick

It is not, Eve Moneypenny, Damien Falco, Holly Goodhead, Domino Derval, Patrice Skyfall, Colonel Moon, Giacinta Johnson, Dr Julius No, needless to say, it's not James Bond himself, Kwang or Paris Carver

Obviously, all responses hitherto put forward are incorrect

few more pointers to keep one or two busy -

#17 Someone, although not quite benevolent, was always pleased to see me

#18 Depeche Mode may well be a favorite music act of mine, if only for one particular release

#19 I came after Carter, but before Clinton

#20 A most unfortunate incident took place, where you couldn't see my legs

so keep at it, and Buona fortuna to those involved

    Is it Corinne Dufour?

You couldn't see her legs when she was attacked by the dogs because the stunt woman wore socks to run through the thick brushing, causing a continuity error. And Spacewalker is a Depeche Mode song.. so Moonraker

Oh, you may have it! And Baltimore_007 likes Moonraker ...

but clues 10 and 15 ... I just don't know. These are killing me.
...and Carter was president when Moonraker was released
  • I'd assume Clue 19 would mean this character was in a movie between For Your Eyes Only and Licence to Kill, but it could be alphabetical...or even both.

five new responses, five incorrect answers

    Nice try though

I'd suggest paying special attention to clues #4, #10 and #16

That should see you right, and we'll get back another time to see if anyone has a gold star on this

Im gonna take a stab in the dark would it be Clair Dowar from skyfall?

The movie is before Clinton ...
Have another update of this and can then get back to other things

It's not Clair Dowar from Skyfall

few more pointers to keep this breathing -

#21 Some quite pivotal figures came down to see me - in the almost literal sense

#22 There were to be, no prisoners of the sun

#23 I was in the right place for a war, but this sure wasn't Vietnam. But could of been, if only you had added an extra number

#24 Some people were, where they shouldn't have been

#25 I couldn't start, but I was just about finished

    have fun
  • Brad Whitaker? Franz Sanchez?
  • I tried Colonel Moon before and was wrong, so I'll try General Moon this time

    Pushkin?

Not Whitaker, Sanchez, Moon or Leonid Pushkin

Maybe (some) concentrating too much on one clue or area of thought here

One or two further clues for now to keep this alive (barely) and then it's a night

#26 I'm not your usual average encounter on the street

#27 Revenge is a dish best served very hot

#28 Someone was going west, some people were going north (true to say), I was most likely going south (in a sense), or maybe just up, as a general direction

#29 Someone was trying to get away. And they did, they got away

#30 Think of a number. A specific number, less than the clues hitherto presented

that's it for now. More participation is always encouraged
