According to FOX Brazil, this is just a "test cover".

You can see a watermark over the boxes, it's not final. The good news is I'm just going to keep the disc in the Bond 50 set slot.

I want a SF steelbook. They better do this for the US, though my only complaint will be that it's totally different than all the other films I have.

Not the best cover... but what I'm really hoping is the "Everything or Nothing" is included as an extra.

Why would anybody dream of pre-ordering this, or any other title, months in advance? It isn't a limited edition. It isn't going to sell out. Every shop/internet store on the planet will be packed to the rafters with copies. I'll order it from HMV about a week before it's released as they despatch new titles prior to the release date. (I received QOS on the Friday before it's official Monday release.) I even think this ludicrous "gun-jumping" by companies harms the box office potential of films. It surely encourages some people to say to themselves, "I won't bother going to see it at the flicks, it'll be out on DVD soon. I'll wait for that." Sadly, they don't realise what they'll be missing. No matter how top of the line your home cinema package may be it can NEVER come within a million miles of the emotional and visceral impact of seeing ANY movie on the big screen - especially a Bond. I don't even want to think about SF on Blu-Ray until March. I want to carry on watching it over and over at the cinema, savouring every fabulous frame in all it's widescreen, surround sound glory, making the most of every single viewing while I can. Because when it's gone from the big screen chances are it's unlikely we'll have the opportunity to enjoy it at it's best ever again. How I miss those halcyon pre-video days when the Bond films would get re-issued on the big screen over and over, year after year in all manner of double-bill combinations. That's one of the few advantages of 2012 being my "golden" year too: I've been fortunate enough to see every single 007 adventure at a movie theatre. Technological advancement can be a pain sometimes!

James Bond 50 Box Set is only $99.99 on Amazon.com today. If you planned on picking it up, now is your best chance:

Once again that Skyfall DVD/Blu-ray cover (should it be used) looks a helluva lot better as a quad. It just doesn't look right as a vertical, there's too much white space at the top.

But anyway, the film was fantastic, so I'll pay whatever they're charging the day it comes out. ;)

I wonder why it's listed at $28 right now.
  • Now, it's listed as $35.99

Here's my idea for a SKYFALL Limited Edition Box Set. Hope you like it...

Would be nice but I'm afraid you show far too much creativity for EONs marketing department.

Also not that sure whether I would want that stag on the mantelpiece. How about boxing up SF, EON and that bulldog as there's already a company making those? But it's fairly pointless speculating we'll get the film, a load of video diary stuff and the trailer and that will be it.

I'd settle with the Q mug, and maybe a bar of soap shaped in the form of the db5.

    @marketto007

That's pretty awesome. It would be nice if they did do something like that. Maybe include some other collectables like Macau casino chips, cards etc.

@marketto007, I freaked out at first because I thought it was real, haha. Instantly looked for a link to click so I could pre-order it. That would be so amazing, but like someone else said, far too creative for them to release.

Really stunning work @marketto007. Let's hope EON see this at the very least.

It won't be the first time @marketto007's work is stolen from him. ;)

I'm not expecting a lot from this Blu Ray release as of course we've all been burned before with CR and QOS. I'm just hoping that they include the Everything or Nothing doc. I'd be very satisfied with that

That is nice! Be good cover for the non-collector's edition.

That is kind of what I envisioned for the Blu-ray cover.
  • Does anybody know what's on the 2nd disc of the Play.com steel edition of 'GoldenEye'?

I enjoyed AVTAK Sir Rog commentary the other day as well as OP behind scenes doc and Brolins screen tests.

Well, my Goldeneye Blu Ray steelbook arrived today. Its rather nice. Doesn't look like there are any suppliments with it, though.

I really wanted to get this, but it appeared to be a UK-exclusive, only.
