It's quite ashame the Casino Royale and Risico games were never released, they looked somewhat promising.

Check out the link above to get the complete list of cancelled bond games...

This list is mere speculation on the part of the wiki users. it was more or less known that raven were working on bloodstone with bizzare not a risco game. late in the games development the raven segments got pulled.
what surfaced from raven studios was a animation show reel to show off the capability of the motion capture they had to offer.
casino royal had 3 screenshots released of backgrounds.
so out of this there is one unfinished game and one game that never existed.

this thread much like that wiki page is just more speculation and disinformation I would think it would be better to continue your line of thought

where SPECULATION is served up and there is plenty of salt to go around.

If this is to be closed or not I leave to the mods
  • Risico later turned up to be the Skyfall mission that was cancelled and remade for 007 Legends.

No its not. the kid is talking out of his @$$.

Risico ended up being scratched and what little remained of it became Bloodstone.

Its ashame because it looked promising . Bloodstones story and gameplay were very subpar . I enjoyed the Monte Carlo mission very much though in BS. The scenery on that level was beautiful
  • Would you like a proof?
  • I'd have liked that Nightfire sequel to be made. Apart from the space stuff at the end I think the story and characters were really cool.
  • Nightfire sequel was Phoenix Rising, named after the same level from the PC version.

I remember when I first got Nightfire I thought it was so cool you could put on and take off your guns silencer whenever you wanted too..besides the space missions It wasn't that bad of a game .
  • Nightfire is the best Bond game ever made.

    no..Goldeneye 64 was
  • No, that's one of the best. By the way, still convinced that Risico is the Skyfall mission?

Thinking currently, my favorite Bond game has to be QoS. As a kid, it was TWINE. I just hope the next Bond video game installment doesn't make me wish it had been cancelled.
  • Activision games are not in the "best games" list. But, rather, they're in the "worst games" list.

on your opinion I on the other hand find Blood Stone and Quantum of solace to be the best.

    that is my opinion
  • BS, I agree it's an average-to-good game, but GE2010 and QoS and 007 Legends?!!! Worst games ever made.

What connection am I supposed to see? I see none except promising footage and then a horrid re-imagining.

Definetly. The gadgets, the exploration, the cool 3rd person moments mixed with 1st person shooting, the levels where you could choose between stealth and action, the driving.

    Great game.

What game was it that had the Bond moments? I think it was EON, but did NF have them too?

Just read this about Nightfire on Wikipedia

The game was developed by Eurocom for
the PlayStation 2, Xbox and Nintendo
    GameCube video game consoles, Gearbox
Software developed the game for Windows,
JV Games developed the game for the Game
    Boy Advance and TransGaming Inc.
developed the game alongside Aspyr who
published the game for the Mac. The
    computer versions are substantially
    different from the console versions,
featuring different missions and a modified
    story line.

I never knew this before, I'm going to youtube the PC footage and see whats different

@DRESSED_TO_KILL, that's how it is with many games, it seems. QoS was vastly different from the 360 and different systems.

Indeed. The PS2 QoS is far, far, far superior to the consoles. Probably the best Bond game I have played.
  • Nigthfire and EON had the Bond moments.
  • Brady, the resemblance of those two videos is even the pre-titles of the film itself. Don't you remember in the pre-production period that it was going to take place in India? And in the first video, Bond was chasing someone, which had a Mollaka-type look, but later revealed to be Patrice. And also, why did Activision remove the video in December 2010 when it was leaked on the internet? That's why. It was based on a then-untitled B23, with the rumoured title "Risico". Just re-imagine the pre-title sequence of Skyfall and remember how it was adapted into a video game level. The so-called "Risico" was a Third-Person Shooter version of it, but cancelled due to unknown reasons. Then, their work was used in "Blood Stone" if you noticed. Even Raven Software was mentioned in the end credits. Explains that both games carried the same mechanics, which also proves that Risico was transformed into Blood Stone. That leaked video takes place in India and has too much similarities to the "Skyfall" mission from "007 Legends". Here's my explanation.

@thelivingroyale and @Creasy47, I agree with you. I'd also like to add AUF to the list, because it was awesome as well. So, AUF, NF and EON are the best games ever.

Interesting. I think I get what you are saying. A shame too.
  • Yeah, it would have been good to have a sequel to Bloodstone.

    Tell me about it, because
we never get to find out who it is that is "everywhere", as Nicole puts it. I hate when that happens. You only make a cliffhanger ending when you know for certain that you are going to be doing a sequel. It saves the fan base's overwhelming frustration.

I liked Agent Underfire but it felt like an underdeveloped Nightfire. Nightfire took what made that game good and improved things, making what I think is the best Bond game ever.

I think Agent Underfire had the best driving. You had this whole little sand box where you could take different routes, pick up gadgets, that was fun. And you could drive the Lotus, the DB5 and the Z8, 3 of my favourite Bond cars.
