I always feel like watching one of the following and don't pay much attention to others:

    Dr. No
    From Russia With Love
    Goldfinger
    You Only Live Twice
    OHMSS (the best)
    Live and Let Die
The Man With the Golden Gun
    The Spy Who Loved Me
    The Living Daylights
    Licence to Kill
    Goldeneye
    Casino Royale

It must of been interesting to come into the films having already been introduced to Fleming's original literary Bond connerybond, sadly like many members my initial introduction of 007 was through the films.

The_Preacher711, personally I think you stopped the film at exactly the right point, up till then it's shaping up to be the best Bond film ever with classic PTS, exotic 60's Miami, Shirley Eaton in bikini and gold paint, that dinner briefing at the Bank of England, Q branch at it's best, the golf duel, scenic Switzerland and the Aston Martin... and then it just seems to go downhill from then (IMO).

Actually, I did the same as connerybond: I was introduced to Bond through the books. I first got into Bond through the first Young Bond book, SilverFin, and then over a period of 24 to 48 hours (not sure exactly how long it was), had managed to rent from the library Ian Fleming's Casino Royale (which at the time I honestly didn't know was the first Bond book; I rented it because I just knew that was the upcoming Bond movie). And then after that, I watched Goldfinger.

I concur, the film really takes a downturn from there on out.

I really feel like watching FRWL or LALD at the moment. FRWL is quite simply a classic, and LALD happens to have my favorite Bond theme song.

After Naomi's competing in the current round of Kerim's Bond girl tournament and seeing Galiforce007's Bond vs. Stromberg and Jaws video, I'm in the mood for TSWLM.

Go for it. I find GE better than QOS and OHMSS better than GE, myself.

I'm in the mood for a double feature of TLD and TMWTGG. Both feature villains with their own personal funhouses and both are the only 2 UE DVDs I own so far.

Hmm...I feel like watching a back-to-back Live and Let Die and The Man with the Golden Gun.

I feel like watching *gasp* GE... Haven't seen a Brosnan film recently, and as this is the most tempting one... #-O Will do a double feature with a Moore outing of course, to ease of the pain of sitting through a Brozzer outing

I recommend TMWTGG to go with GE. Both have gold in the title, both feature a villain who's supposed to represent the darker side of Bond.

That's a good pick. My favorite Moore film and GE was the first Bond film made post-MR to return to the outer space themes explored in DN, YOLT, DAF and, of course, MR.

I've never thought about that! That's neat. My favorite space-themed Bond movie would either be DAF or YOLT, because I love the threat that SPECTRE has in space, whether a deadly laser satellite or a possible nuclear war between the USA and Russia.

OP. With Magda and Maud Adams currently competing in Kerim's Bond girl tournament and today being the 30th Anniversary of the beginning of the Indiana Jones adventure series(which definitely influenced both OP and AVTAK), it's put me in the mood for the 1983 Bond adventure.

Today I feel like watching GE, truly one of my dearest Bond films. Truly. You see I had to put up with that Sean Bean 'The Hitcher' flick (2007) and as can be expected Bean is about the only element in this film worthy to be watched. It struck me that Bean looked a lot like 006 but in order to confirm my suspicion, I'll plug in that GE DVD in just under a minute.

I feel like watching A View to a Kill, believe it or not! I actually really like AVTAK, despite what many people think about it. It was one of the first ones I saw, and it was the first one for me to buy on DVD. Now whether that has made a soft spot for it or not, I would have liked it anyway ;-)

Either TLD or OHMSS. Or maybe both as a double feature.

since I have been played GE: Reloaded a lot - I do want to sit down and rewatch Goldeneye again.... but chances are, tonight - I will be falling asleep early... so that means either another viewing of Diamonds Are Forever, or possibly Die Another Day... works better than a cup of warm milk and nascar lol.

Skyfall... I mean sure they only just started filming it but I can't wait to see it... that said I might sit down and watch a Connery or Dalton bond film... or maybe Casino Royale again.
